As I work with history as my subject, history in itself is usually divided into major events such as the fall of The Ottoman Empire, the death of Hitler, the invention of Feudalism etc etc. However, in the history of Michael Bolton (and in lenght also in all popular music), there can be very few moments that has caught and changed so many hearts as the release of the ever lasting album Time Love and Tenderness. 20 Years has now passed since we first caught up with the truest of feelings delivered so that I almost believed you. This one strong event in history can further be devided into every single happening during the last 20 years, when we have chosen to listen to this fenomenal album and get Carried away be intense emotions. What are your favourite memories from the last 20 years of living whith this album? Has the love story between you and Time Love and Tenderness been a long road of happiness or  has it been a Fool's Game?

Hi Petrus and welcome to the forum. Great idea for a thread, by the way! “Time love and tenderness” is the first tape my husband bought me, when I had asked him to get me one that had “When I’m back on my feet again” on it. But I was extremely grateful that he made a mistake, because I discovered the gift of such a wonderful voice overflowing with emotion and passion, singing such wonderful songs and I never looked back.  I also have very special memories attached to “Time love and tenderness” from my last concert here in Montreal, already 2 years ago in April. Thanks for starting this thread Petrus and feel free to share your own memories of the album. Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Excellent post Petrus,

Great use of the songs I Almost Believed You, Carrie, Fools Game and obviously Time, Love & Tenderness. It really does show that you have The Hunger and indeed The One Thing that really comes through is that Forever Isn't Long Enough for your love for the album. I suppose That's What Love Is All About, especially if Forever's Just A Matter Of Time and you are a Survivor. Time,Love & Tenderness for me was Paradise and it certainly helped lift a Desperate Heart but when Steel Bars came on all you could hear me say was Don't Tell Me It's Over.

Til The End Of Forever it will be a great album, Timeless, like all MB albums.

Best,

James

PS> I'm hoping this will catch on and people get it, you may have started something here, a true Hometown Hero!

Hello Petrus,

My journey with Michael began long before TL&T album.

Way, way back in 1987 I bought the album 'The Hunger' and I was smitten!!

That album created so many memories for me and holds so much emotion, it can never be surpassed.

So you see, my encounter was 3 albums before TL & T.

Welcome to the forum.

Love Jennifer XX
