Beautiful photo Sylvia!

Just 3 more days ....3 more days ! My mom can't wait, well I can't wait either. But my mom has dimentia and she is slowly losing touch but the one thing she hasn't forgotten is her "Michael" ! Hopefully this is not your last concert in PA before too long because we will be at the next one. She has seen you twice in Hershey , once with Celine and the other with Wynonna. Then we saw you twice in Lancaster . The last time in Lancaster we had a flat tire and only woman that go to Michael Bolton Concerts know how to change a tire. Thank goodness I am one of those women. Now ,York can't wait to celebrate Your Birthday with My Mom at Your Concert.

Sing a song for her Michael...Her name is Linda ??!!

With great respect,

Natalie M

Natalie, be sure you and your mom find the card and sign it when you get there!!    My mother has dementia as well and I know it isn't fun for either of you but you are doing what I do...the things you know she enjoys...even if just for that moment in time!!  God Bless you!!  Gail

Welcome Natalie..As Gail said be sure to find the big birthday card in the lobby and have your mom and yo both sign it. Bless you for bringing her!!! That's wonderful.

Hi Natalie and welcome to the forum. Enjoy your special moments with your mom: what a sweet daughter you are, God bless you... Michael has another concert in Chester Pa in March and he tours Pa fairly often. Thank you for sharing your story sweetie and remember what Gail said: look for a 3 foot birthday card in the lobby of the venue and you and your mom sign Michael's birthday card. Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada

Hi Natalie, yes, it is not easy as you go through with your mom's health, but very nice of you to give this possibility you can see and hear her again Michael! I wish God bless you and your lot mami, and are very blissful 26! A warm and sincere hug from Argentina, Mar

So on Wed. 2/20 I left work early to get ready for the concert, we wanted to get there early and beat the rush hour traffic. Then we were meeting for dinner before the show. I was going with Lee White (she is on this site but doesn't post much and on Facebook also) then we were meeting up with Eileen Parr. This was going to be great; we had front row center aisle seats on the left side. Easy to rush out up to the stage at the appropriate time! Lee picked me up; we had never actually met before. But you know, that never seems to matter with Bolton Buddies does it? Right off the bat you have so much in common. You start talking about your MB adventures over the years and you feel like you are best friends in 10 minutes! So we played MB music and talked during the hour ride. We got to the restaurant and right away got a call from Eileen who was having car trouble! Oh no!!! Her electrical system in her car was out and she couldn't drive as she had no lights. Was not able to get a train, borrow another car or get a friend to come last minute so she was not coming!  She was so upset, and we were also. I hated to text her the next day and tell her she missed an amazing show. I still have to call her and I guess she will be reading this too. (Eileen we really did miss you ;( So Lee and I had dinner and talked some more, we had some time to kill. Later we left to go to the show; Lee remembers going to the movies at the State Theatre years ago when it was just a movie theater. It’s a very nice, old era theatre. The sound is always amazing in those types of venues. They also had a merchandise table in the lobby like Robin said. I got the Motown CD which was signed. ($20) Also had signed copies of the book and Gems CD’s. We were inside in line and met up with another BB, Joyce Fazio also from NJ. That was nice, as I have friended her and pm’d her here. I love to meet in person other BB’s from the site! So we got to talk while in line, and later the three of us got a picture in front of the stage together. When we got to our seats I wasn't upset as it’s happened before, they sold extra seats, which are chairs they put in front of the first row. So now we were actually in the third row! Annoying!! But we were on the aisle, and knew we would be right up at the stage soon enough! The show started with the taped version of Hercules playing, very short version of it. Then Michael came out singing Soul Provider as usual……love it!! Oh he looked great and his voice was perfect, as it always is. Like Robin said, he was in a really good mood and joked around a lot. I probably won't remember the entire set list but will list what I can:
(Not in order)
Go The Distance (recording)
Soul Provider
SILYBIL
To Love Somebody
Steel Bars
Time Love & Tenderness
WAMLAW
Nessun Dorma
You Don't Know Me
Dock of The Bay
Sweet Home Chicago
How Can We Be Lovers
The Prayer (With Kelly)
HAISTLWY (With Kelly)
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough (With Kelly Levesque)
Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing (With Kelly)
To Make You Feel My Love (With Kelly)
Georgia On My Mind (Encore)
Sweet Home Chicago was rocking amazing! The Prayer with Kelly was the best, When Michael sings that last note at the end, I get goose bumps that start on my arms but then continue down my whole body! Just blows me away every time! Nessun Dorma got a standing ovation from everyone. He did the same thing like Robin said, at one point he & Kelly held up the book and CD’s and he talked a little about them. He was in a great “up” funny mood and kept joking around. One woman rushed up with a photo or the book, not sure, he said “I am not supposed to do this” but he signed it anyway and then I think he knew what would happen as he quickly moved away from the edge of the stage and kept on singing. Sure enough a few more ladies started coming forward with books etc. to be signed. Too late, I guess you have to be the first impromptu one to run up.  Later when we were up at the stage a girl behind me had a photo, she yelled “Michael can you please sign this for me? It’s us, it’s from 1992!” He was sitting on the stool and made no attempt to get up, but joked around, “Really? Wow! Were we married?” And he and everyone laughed. But sorry for her, it didn't get signed.
Kelly’s duets with MB were wonderful, she is beautiful and her voice is perfect with his. She brings in on with the Motown songs too, very energetic. I got to meet her and have a picture taken with her after the show! Will wait for Lee to post it. Michael Lington did his Roadtrip song solo, Cameron did a solo, and Brian on piano also. When Michael did WAMLAW, he popped up out of the audience right side (not on a platform) and then sang and walked up to the stage. As you know by Robin’s review he now has a new outfit at this point. (See photo above) And shortly after this song, Joyce met us and we got up to go to the stage we were right up against it! Lee & I both got to hold his hand for a few seconds as he went around to us all during one of the songs. So that for me was wonderful! (My first time getting to hold his hand at the stage!!) Going up to the stage is just the best! You can tell Michael loves it, what man wouldn't? All these women carrying on adoring him! (Oh yes, at the very end someone did throw up a pair of panties!) MB picked them up, and threw them over at the piano player, they landed on his lap and then on the floor under the piano) I can't remember all the funny things he said during the night, but at one point he did say "Oh I love my job!!" And we are so glad he does, we never want him to stop doing concerts!!
