I wanted to start this thread for those of you who would like to post a birthday message to Michael. Michael's birthday is February 26th. I know Sally has set up a new way to give messages to Michael this year since it is a special birthday (65th) but for those who aren't able to participate or would rather leave a message here, please do so and I'll forward the link on to him for his birthday.
Just to be clear, these are birthday wishes...anything vulgar, rude or out of line will be deleted. Any questions, let me know. Gail
Happy Birthday Michael!! I know you'll have a wonderful time so I'll wish you all the very best for this coming year and ask you to enjoy what life brings.
Oh, and ask someone to buy you a scarf as a present - for when you come over here ;)
So today you’re the birthday boy, and it’s your 65th!! Don’t worry too much about the age thing as it’s just a number, and to be honest you only look half the number anyway...So many years have past by, since I first appreciated you as an artist in the music industry. Over the years you’ve supplied us fans with an enormous amount of great music, music that has been inspirational due to the lyrics. When you have a passion for music and listen to It day in day out, you relate to the songs because of what’s going on in your life at that time. There’s many songs from your entire catalogue that have actually got me through some real tough times in my life, and the lyrics thankfully spurred me on and taught me to be strong. I thank you for the music, and love you for the person that you are. I wish you a wonderful day whatever your plans are, and hope it’s with family and friends that host you a fabulous party...( blow the candles out quick Michael though, as don’t want there to be a fire) Hahaha
If I could choose a present to send to you, it would be a huge box and that box would contain “good health” so that it could be guaranteed that we all can stay on this musical journey with you. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL” have a good one!!!!!

Happy Birthday to my favourite singer on the planet. A birthday card was mailed but a bit late.
I will now say what was in the card : “May your day be a beautiful melody of happiness, warm moments and sweet celebration “
Wishing you peace , love, blessings and positive energy .
”Thank you for the music, the songs you’re singing. Thanks for all the joy they’re bringing. Who can live without it, We ask in all honesty. What would life be? Without your songs ...who are we? So I say thank you for the music , for giving it to us “ Thank you Michael.

Posting Birthday Greetings on behalf of Sylvie Boisvert who, unfortunately, is still waiting to be completely linked up with her new equipment but hopes to be back on soon.
My dear Michael,
I wish you the happiest of birthdays, continued health and inspiration always. Here's hoping you can take some 'me' time for yourself on your special day. I know that many of us celebrate it with you. :D Michael, today, I want to thank you from the heart, for all the wonderful memories you've given us, through our connecting with your music, making new friends thanks to you and everything you've shared and continue to share with us, throughout your 'Wonderful Life'. :D I know my life would be a lot different if you hadn't been there, so simply: thank you Michael and God bless. To the holder of my favorite sound, much love and warm bear hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada <3
Only bit of seriousness in this message is to wish you the most wonderful, of wonderful birthdays you have ever had and hope, without doubt, 26th February proves to be the start of a year in which your most cherished dreams come true, beautiful memories are made and you feel nothing but love from those around you. Happy 65th Birthday Michael !!! xoxo
Here goes for FUN birthday message .... only way to celebrate a birthday, surely ???? ........
We were going to put 65 candles on your cake, but we were afraid a jet might mistake it for a runway.
Turning 65 means sometimes you laugh so hard the tears run down your leg.
You know you’re turning 65 when you start ordering drive-up food at a mailbox.
When you hit 65, “Rock ‘n Roll” no longer describes your music, but your chair options: rocking or wheel.
What’s the best thing about turning 65?
No more calls from life insurance salesmen.
65 is when you start to have weird hobbies, like growing giant radishes and collecting aluminum foil.
By 65 you tend to sleep more soundly. But it’s usually in the afternoon.
Good news: at 65 there is no noticeable decline in memory storage.
Memory retrieval, however, is something else.
Advice for 65-year-olds: use valet parking.
Valets don’t forget where they parked your car.
Where can 65-year-old men find younger women who are interested in them?
In the bookstore, under “Fiction.”
At 65, “getting down” on your birthday means not necessarily getting back up.
By 65, you're telling your pals that all your aches and pains are old sports injuries.
At 65 it’s important to be on time for your birthday party. If you’re a few minutes late, everybody might be napping.
We were going to put 65 candles on your birthday cake, but we didn’t want it to look like a torchlight procession.
65 means waking up with that “morning after” feeling even when you stayed home and went to bed early.
Congrats - 65! You're another year older and wiser. Except when it has anything to do with technology.
At 65, almost anyplace works for a nap.
Happy 65th! If you spent your first few decades laughing at old people, guess what? Karma's a bitch!
