Dock of the Bay video

Hi everyone, was watching the video of Dock of the Bay a couple of days ago and was wondering does anyone know where this was filmed?

Hi Sandra, I don't really have an answer for you right now, but didn't Michael mention it in an interview, or on the "Decade" video? Sorry Sandra for I can't find it anywhere.  Have looked through books and got out old VCR but nothing mentioned on there....sorry and looks like have to ask the MAN himself !!! lol

The video was shot I believe in Waldo Point in Sausalito, California,

the original place Otis wrote "Dock Of The Bay", back in June 1967, Otis wrote all the lyrics onto napkin while rented a houseboat.. Otis went back to the studio in Nov 67 to record what would be his finest work.... Dec 10 1967 Otis and bar kays plane crashed in Lake Monova,  they all perished...... Dock of bay was released in jan 68 as steve cropper puts it "The hardest time was finishing the album"...

now Zelma Redding Said "Michaels cover brought her tear to my eye".
