"Fathers and Daughters" the movie.
Michael performs song he co-wrote and the theme tune for the movie "Fathers and Daughters" starring Russell Crowe and it is due to be presented at music festivals where could well earn nominations for awards in the film industry and this is main reason for starting this thread so that anything relevant can be kept together in one place. Hope you all agree ???

Just to ask Robin if you have actually heard the theme song which Michael co-wrote and sings to Fathers & Daughters and if you haven't here is link to it and this is one everyone is talking about for it is absolutely beautiful.

Hi Sylvia, "Fathers and daughters" still plays, but not "Close to you", but I've noticed it's on a different channel. What's strange is that it doesn't say it's not available in my country, it just says it's not available. Anyway, while searching for it the long way, I found this adorable clip:

In the clip they are both sitting at a desk and he is trying to work and typing away and his daughter is sitting drawing with crayons and he stops and looks at what she is doing and then he starts to sing and he leans over to her and he starts drawing as well on her piece of paper. You can't see quite what he has done but she has already drawn a figure and then she draws a heart and is colouring it in. This film is definitely a tearjerker.

Hi Sylvia, thanks for the update. Now why is this movie seemingly so elusive? And which DVD premiere would that be: the Sweeddddddish DVD premiere? I've noticed in the list that U.S.A. release only says "2016" and nothing in Canada so far. Has anyone seen this movie? Sylvia, it was apparently released Nov 13 in the U.K., do you know of anyone having seen it? It's a little frustrating that everything around this movie seems to be arduously attainable...
