Hamburg Concert - December 15th
I've just gotten word that the December 15th concert in Hamburg has been cancelled. There will be more info shortly I believe with when the reschuled dates will be. I wanted to post this so those going to Hamburg knew it was not taking place. Michael is still under the weather and with bronchotis he doesn't want to try to sing just yet. I'm so sorry for those who will be disappointed but from what I'm reading it sounds like you all understand how serious this can be if he doesn't take these steps to take care of himself and his voice for a few more days.

"Deja vue" - I know you remember my/our frustration in June due to the cancelled concert in Mainz. I was so scared that it might happen again but I was so lucky to enjoy the wonderful concert in Düsseldorf. I guess I can perfectly understand your disappointment, especially after reading the tour reviews.
Michael must be seriously ill to do so to his german fans and I guess it might be not easy for him to take his time to recover. Yet I think it is the best to take care for himself and really get well again. Maybe he already should have done it after the cancellation of the Brighton show.
One single thought - beside of my heartfelt whishes for his complete recovery - is running through my mind (and heart): Because of so many cancellations in Germany he should return to Germany as fast as he can - hopefully with a lot of PR, so that every show is sold out. I know, that there are fans enough to fill the shows - if they only knew!!!!
I wonder if he is able to sing at the Carreras Gala and in Assisi.
Dear Christine, I know it will take some time to recover from your anger and disappointment, but I know, Michael is worth waiting for. You will have your chance too. Keep going ...

i know everyone is dissapointed this has been cancelled i am to but get over it ,there will be more i had hotel and flight booked for this which i have lost the money for .the main thing here is how michael is not the concerts the worse thing is .is not knowing how he is its deversating and i know how bad bronchitis is and what it can turn into so michael doing as hes told will do him good :). so hes doing the right thing xx

today I can speak about my disappointment of the cancelled concert in Dresden. Yesterday I was lost in my tears because I go through a hard time. The concert was the light at the end of the dark.
I got the tickets last year in December and I was looking forward to this event the whole year.
Today, I hope the concerts will be reschuled soon. Michael, please come back to Dresden and have a great time.

nun langsam legt sich meine Enttäuschung und ich harre der Dinge, die da kommen. Wie Gail geschrieben hat, soll er ja alle Konzerte irgendwann nachholen. Hoffentlich ist es auch dann möglich, zu gehen. Und hoffentlich hat man wieder so gute Sitzplätze (1. Reihe). Meine Tickets habe ich wieder zurück zu eventim geschickt - du auch?
Es wäre so eine schöne Einstimmung auf Weihnachten gewesen - bei dem ganzen Streß auf Arbeit und mit zwei pubertierenden Teenagern zu Hause. Aber es sollte nicht sein.
Nun können wir nur hoffen, dass MB wieder schnell gesund wird.

Thanks for posting Gail, MB needs to get better, and hopefully if the shows are being rescheduled, the fans will still get to see him a different date..

Here is the official statement that will be posted to the site as soon as possible. I know those who had tickets are disappointed but Michael thanks you so much for your understanding.
Due to illness, Michael Bolton was not able to perform at his recent concerts in Dresden (Kulturpalast) or Stuttgart (Liederhalle) and will not be able to perform at tomorrow night’s (December 15) concert at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg. Michael thanks all his fans for their continued support and hopes to soon have details for rescheduled concerts in all three cities. Tickets for the cancelled show can be held for a rescheduled show or can be refunded at point of purchase.

No, I didn't come to Stuttgard fortunately, because this year I saw M. B. in January here in Switzerland ( he was also a bit ill, but he did his performance) and this summer in Italy (in my country), in my experience I know that travelling in winter from here it's always a risk, I prefer to go to concerts from April to October.
I was also twice in England and twice in Italy for different concerts and my budget is over!
I hope M.B. will come back in Germany and maybe he can stop here for a concert, it's not so far away!
Anyway if there will be a concert in Switzerland you can come here and stay in my flat, I have a guest room¨
