Hey, I was wondering what everyones first experience was of enjoying Michael's music? the first time you realised you were a fan?

I must admit, my first interaction was when I watched the movie Snow Dogs a couple of years ago and heard Time, Love and Tenderness at the end, I thought it was fantastic and my love has just grown from there!

Sorry if this has already been discussed before, but I'm interested to hear your stories!

Jenna.

Dear Meggy and Mary

That is so true what you say there Michael's music just speaks to a person deep in side. Could be because of his star sign that he is so in touch with imotions that he can write such beautiful song that can make a women (and man) feel so much better . My favourite is "Only a woman like you"  because it just tell a person alot about a woman and what she can do (even to a man).

Sheroda from South Africa

Hello Jenna,
My name is Erika, I was born in Italy but grew up between Boston and Dublin in Ireland.
Michael Bolton I discovered thanks to my Aunt Lynette who has always lived in New Haven, as we all know the birthplace of Michael.
She loves Michael and has always collected his records and CDs.
I was just a kid when I did listen to the voice of Michael Bolotin, who sang with the Blackjack. My first song was "My World is empty without you." I fell in love immediately and then growing up, I followed his career. In 1996 I was with my aunt at Pavarotti and friends where I was excited to hear our Michael singing "Nessun dorma and Vesti la Giubba."
With all the respect that other artists deserve, but Michael was great and best of all.
Thanks for letting me tell my story.
Take care of yourself.
Erika.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Erika and what a wonderful event to have witnessed, "Pavarotti and Friends" for it is great just looking at the videos from that time but to have actually been there and seen is a pretty wonderful memory to have !!! :)

Thanks again Erika !! :)

Hi Gloria, I just wanted to say break a leg on getting to hear HAISTLWY at your next concert! Are you going to one of the upcoming ones on the East Coast? I hope so. My fave song will always be WIBOMFA though I'll never expect to hear it, but I really love "Georgia" and have only heard it twice out of my 7 concerts so I think I know how you feel. As I've said: break a leg! Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

HI SYLVIE!  OK I AM STUMPED  WHAT SONG IS WIBOMFA?   I AM NOT SURE IF I AM GOING TO ANY OF THE UPCOMING EAST COAST CONCERTS  I STILL HAVE FINGERS CROSSED FOR NYC  I AM CONSIDERING WESTBURY BUT IT WILL BE DIFFICULT  I WILL LET YOU KNOW IT I DO  I HAVE BEEN TO 5 CONCERTS AND NEVER HEARD "GEORGIA"  EITHER

GLORIA

Hi again Gloria, WIBOMFA is "When I'm back on my feet again" and I wouldn't be a pretty sight if Michael sang it at a concert I attended. Oh I do hope you can make one concert and take advantage while he's in your area. Michael apparently does "Georgia" often as an encore. I suppose it depends on the audience and how he's feeling. Thanks for your response sweetie, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

HI SYLVIE!  THANK YOU SO MUCH  I JUST COULD NOT FIGURE IT OUT  I LOVE THAT SONG AS WELL  I NEVER HEARD HIM SING THAT SONG IN CONCERT EITHER

THANKS AGAIN!

GLORIA

Grazie. Tu abbraccio forte.
Erika.

Oh Erika, can you please tell us more about how you've lived that wonderful experience of "Pavarotti and friends" and how it came about? Is there anything you can tell us that we didn't see or hear on the recording? I can hardly imagine what it was like to be in the presence of Michael and Pavarotti in the same room... Hey, you know what? I can tell you're one of us because you called him "our" Michael! Lol Thank you for sharing your story sweetie, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

My Dear the great tenor Luciano Pavarotti has held for several years The Pavarotti and Friends, a charity music event.

That year (sorry not 1996 as they write on you tube, but 1995 - my aunt corrected me) Tuesday, September 12, 1995 in Modena, the charitable cause was the children of Bosnia.
Michael has sung with the great Luciano "Vesti la Giubba" I had never heard Michael sing opera before that time. My aunt and I wept bitterly. On YouTube there are videos.
If my aunt had been able to be jumped on stage to kiss our Michael and tenor Pavarotti.
We arrived in Modena Sunday, September 10. And we have not slept with emotion. On the morning of the concert, the square was full of people, it was windy but not cold.

My aunt told me we should be able to see Michael Bolton.
Nah, the scenes where they felt they were armored. Do not let go.
What a disappointment! But the concert and the amazing voice of Michael and Pavarotti have compensated.

The concert opened with the Overture to "Le Nozze di Figaro" fantastic.

Among the artists remember Bono of U2, Simon Le Bon, The Chieftains, then the only the best, the beautiful, and forever Our MICHAEL BOLTON.
She sang divinely. And Pavarotti himself has repeatedly recognized the wonderful talent of Michael.
For example at the end of the concert all artisiti on stage sang "The Bridge is Broken". This song stands out Michael's voice was the only one who has good knowledge of the piece. If you watch the video on You Tube you know it.
In 1995 I was 11, but that event I remember how it had happened yesterday.
I grew up with bread and Michael Bolton.
From that moment on I never stopped listening.
And frankly it's as beautiful as the sun!

That day we managed to bring Michael, but a few years later my aunt shook hands at a concert in Rino.
I still have not succeeded, for now I only heard her perfume when I passed near the Royal Albert Hall.
But do not give up. At least once I've got to shake his hand.

I embrace you affectionately.
Erika
