Hi Gail,

wow that's great news! I am not sure if this gala will be broadcasted, but if - I am sure someone of "us" (German fans lol) will be able to record and share it (I personally don't own a TV).

Countdown to the PRG LEA 2011: Two weeks before the presentation of the German Live Entertainment Award in the Frankfurt Festhalle, the organizers have revealed the secret to the international guest star. With the U.S. singer and two-time Grammy winner Michael Bolton ("How Am I Supposed To Live Without You," "Love Is A Wonderful Thing") joins an absolute high-caliber of show business to live on the 1,200 guests at the awards gala.

Bolton, who has sold over 52 million albums and singles sets, the highlight in the show program, which also presents the power woman of German folk, Helene Fischer. Both connect to the first solo and then staged an exclusive vocal pas de deux.

Hi Astrid, are you trying to figure out what "pas de deux" is? Litterally translated, it means "step of two", but my guess is that they each took turns singing solo and then did a duet.  I'm happy for you guys that you'll be seeing Michael earlier than you thought! as much as I tried to comment now for half an hour I found that I cannot comment at the moment and hope that I will find the time to do so some other time.I guess I suffer some mental problems  and feel as if someone throttles me,but i am sure this feeling is only temporarily.I hope so and I keep singing as they say singing is good for one's health,body,soul and spirit and I shall carry on practising Michael Jackson songs for his upcoming anniversary.

To let you know that photos that were published on Photostream of Michael at the Award Ceremony are really quite lovely.  In each and every one he looks happy and relaxed and I do mean - happy and relaxed and his beaming smile is as always, gorgeous !! :)

Thanks very much for posting link - great shots of Michael and Helene - wonder a possibility for "Gems" ?? .... it is the younger artists that are showing up on the album and Helene certainly would not be a bad choice !!! :)

Michael wird von Ossy Hoppe promoted! Vielleicht sind dann demnächst seine Konzerte ausverkauft!!! Und vielleicht ist er dann noch häufiger hier!

 

In Germany Michael is promoted by Ossy Hoppe, who won two prices for organizing best concert event and best tour! That is great news!!
