MB Dates Added Part 2

I was having trouble with the MB Dates Added thread going to the last page so I'm thinking it is at it's limit so starting this new thread.

You are going to find a number of things on the web and on band member's websites before I announce, or they end up in the Tour section here, or MB's official Facebook and I want to explain why.  Michael's management and tour people start setting things up and working with promoters and venues most times a long time before we hear about them. There are logistics that have to be worked out as well as schedules, deposits, agreements, etc that are all signed and ok'd before Michael's people consider them confirmed.  The band member's may put them on their websites also before we do because they are given the dates while they are being worked on, so they will hold those dates in their busy schedules as well. A lot of the band do other gigs when they aren't with Michael so they are asking them to hold those dates.  Promoters and venues sometimes post before all is confirmed on Michael's end as well because they want to get the word out and tickets sold but sometimes that works against them and most of us have seen that happen when a concert doesn't work out and tickets have to be refunded or taken down with no explanation. Most of the times the ones you find on websites of the venues or band member's sites do work out but because there is the chance they might not until all i's are dotted we don't post on the main page until it is!!

WEST KELOWNA – Michael Bolton will be travelling to the Okanagan for a concert at Mission Hill Family Estate winery this summer.

The Grammy Award-winning musician is on the summer concert series lineup at the

Mission Hill Family Estate Winery, West Kelowna, BC Canada along with singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge and The Gipsy Kings.

Bolton will be playing Friday, Aug. 5, Melissa Etheridge on Friday, Aug. 26 and The Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes and Tonino Baliardo on Sunday, Aug. 28.

The winery’s outdoor amphitheatre is an intimate 1,200-seat concert venue with spectacular views of the mountains and Okanagan Lake.

Tickets for the concerts go on sale Wednesday, April 27 at the Mission Hill website or by calling 250-762-5050.

Mission Hill Winery, Kelowna, BC, Canada have added a second date for Michael of 7th August because tickets for first show sold out in 30 minutes.  Tickets for this second show went on sale at 10.00 am this morning

Michael Bolton will be this summer Very Special Guest during the Robert Wells & Rhapsody In Rock tour.

2 Grammys for Best Pop Male Vocal Performance , 6 American Music Awards, and a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A list of Hits to be played this summer.

Hi Gail and FYI I have been having email problems but did have this one from you come through as I figured out how to retreive new ones this a.m. I am taking my phone in today for the problem.

I also wanted to note here that just in case no one else is aware yet, the U.S. tour for Night Of The Proms has been canceled by the producers I was informed of by Sprint Center and AXS just today. Refunds are being made by AXS for the canceled Kansas City Sprint event that was scheduled. Sorry if I have duplicated someone else's info about this event on the site.

Yes Gail.....I was told by the Sprint Center that the entire U. S tour was canceled but no explanation as to why except as I said it was canceled by the producers !! :(. No mention of rescheduling. I was told by AXS that my credit card had already been refunded.
This I know would have been such a wonderful event....sad !!!! :(.

Thanks Robin, still hoping for something to come up in Tulsa. It has been over 3 years since MB has been here. Jimmy Buffet's Marguaritville's new event center is to be completed next year. The Joint at Hardrock has a new entertainment manager, FINALLY !!!!
There just are not that many venues in Tulsa except for these 2 I mentioned and the ORU Maybee Center where I first saw MB in the early ninetees......that would be an awesome venue too as well as the Kristin Chinowith (last name spelling ????) in Broken Arrow OK.
Lisa Minelli and Lily Tomlin just performed there.

IF YOU SEE THIS MB.....I AM HOPING PLEASE !!!!! ☺
