I was having trouble with the MB Dates Added thread going to the last page so I'm thinking it is at it's limit so starting this new thread.

You are going to find a number of things on the web and on band member's websites before I announce, or they end up in the Tour section here, or MB's official Facebook and I want to explain why. Michael's management and tour people start setting things up and working with promoters and venues most times a long time before we hear about them. There are logistics that have to be worked out as well as schedules, deposits, agreements, etc that are all signed and ok'd before Michael's people consider them confirmed. The band member's may put them on their websites also before we do because they are given the dates while they are being worked on, so they will hold those dates in their busy schedules as well. A lot of the band do other gigs when they aren't with Michael so they are asking them to hold those dates. Promoters and venues sometimes post before all is confirmed on Michael's end as well because they want to get the word out and tickets sold but sometimes that works against them and most of us have seen that happen when a concert doesn't work out and tickets have to be refunded or taken down with no explanation. Most of the times the ones you find on websites of the venues or band member's sites do work out but because there is the chance they might not until all i's are dotted we don't post on the main page until it is!!

Hi Julie,
I emailed Kong yesterday and was told to get in touch with ATG about a refund. I live in Manchester so obviously was going there. Now I'm not. The Opera House are very excited at Michael's appearance though, I suppose they'll be notified before the date. This is all so strange.

Just rang on the freephone number for ATG and after wading though a long list of options, finally spoke to a chap who explained that Michael's team had informed them today of the changes. Because I booked on line, apparently I will be getting an email that explains, but in essence the seat I have will be a straight transfer to 12 November, he didn't think new tickets would be issued, and a refund would be available through that email if I wanted. He said they were receiving numerous calls, particularly from Sunderland customers who had had their Valentine's Day treat ruined; I think he was rather relieved I wasn't making his life too difficult. I told him I was one of the lucky ones who had not lost out financially and he said he understood how upset and frustrated many fans were.
So sorry for everyone who is distraught, disappointed or disillusioned. I do think it's been handled badly, to be allowed to go so close to the wire before the technical issues were recognised. I would imagine that heads will roll somewhere.

An up-date folks. Woking are NOW getting in touch with all those who have purchased tickets and they are doing so by e-mail, text and phone calls. They are advising of cancellation and advising how to get refund if you wish. They still have had no "official" word on the date rescheduled and therefore, cannot advise on that. Have received this information on an up-date post I put out on my page on FB this afternoon and which I directed to Kong Events, Michael Bolton and Gold Star Promotions.
For information Kong Events official announcement on cancellation states that Woking has been rescheduled to 12th November.

Everyone I want you to be aware that I have gotten word that the dates and venues have shifted a bit again. I know it is frustrating and trying to get the official word before I post anything to be sure everything is correct before posting anything. I was also told that the venues should have started contacting people at this point.
Thanks Gail for info

I know this is frustrating to everyone...including Michael because he knows how frustrating it is to his fans. You should be hearing from the venues that are no longer having shows to get your refund. If you don't hear contact that venue. Following are the new venues and dates:
Manchester Opera House - Manchester, UK November 9th
Liverpool Empire - Liverpool, UK November 11th
Princess Theatre - Torquay, UK November 13th
Aylesbury Waterside Theatre- Aylesbury, UK November 16th
Sunderland Empire - Sunderland, UK November 19th
Yes!!!! They've put Manchester back on the list!!!! :) :) :)
I've just finished checking my emails for the night still hearing nothing from anyone but unless they change/cancel/alter the date/venue again .... I can still go see Michael whilst he's in the UK :) Thank you very much Gail for posting this :)

Hi Julie,
Keeping fingers firmly crossed. Still no email or phone call from the Opera House, ATG or Kong so if I didn't go online I wouldn't have known anything about it. Hopefully see you there :)

Thanks Gail for link and have had 3 e-mails and a voicemail from them ... they sure are doing okay!! Got e-mail to reply to and say was going on 19th therefore straight swap on seat and also got e-mail from ATG tickets telling me Sunderland was cancelled and giving new date. Then got a voicemail with all the info plus e-mail acknowledging my response to theirs and saying it had been noted I would be attending on 19th and that ticket I hold will allow me to gain entry. Now just waiting for Liverpool for nothing from them yet.
