I was having trouble with the MB Dates Added thread going to the last page so I'm thinking it is at it's limit so starting this new thread.
You are going to find a number of things on the web and on band member's websites before I announce, or they end up in the Tour section here, or MB's official Facebook and I want to explain why. Michael's management and tour people start setting things up and working with promoters and venues most times a long time before we hear about them. There are logistics that have to be worked out as well as schedules, deposits, agreements, etc that are all signed and ok'd before Michael's people consider them confirmed. The band member's may put them on their websites also before we do because they are given the dates while they are being worked on, so they will hold those dates in their busy schedules as well. A lot of the band do other gigs when they aren't with Michael so they are asking them to hold those dates. Promoters and venues sometimes post before all is confirmed on Michael's end as well because they want to get the word out and tickets sold but sometimes that works against them and most of us have seen that happen when a concert doesn't work out and tickets have to be refunded or taken down with no explanation. Most of the times the ones you find on websites of the venues or band member's sites do work out but because there is the chance they might not until all i's are dotted we don't post on the main page until it is!!
There was nothing when I looked during presale. I was on and off the whole day. I thought it was going to be the same old Atlantic City scenario. Then I decided I didn't really need to spend the money. But I just went on to check what was happening. Well, I bought the one, 5th row. Then first row popped up. I went from not going to having 2 tickets.
I would have liked to hear the pleasantries you ladies were shouting as you hustled to get your great seats ;) LOL I know because I have been there...sounds something like this...@%$!#@^#(!&@%!!!!!!! ROFL!!!

Thanks Gail and Kathy R.. Yes it was one of the oddest sales on Tmaster with the seat map to pick seats. Tickets were appearing and disappearing today..then all of the sudden front row and we went after them like a vengence!!LOL
They did release some front rows yesterday in the pre-sale but they were gone before we could snag them..a few here and there and then after that we kept pulling 8th-on back most of the time we tried and my friend tried off and on then later all day both ways, best available and back to the map and the same ones were still there....Yes that was what it looked like at 10:00 a.m. this a.m. Sally, same as it ended yesterday but it took time and then they were randomly releasing some closer to the front till the fronts came up..Oddest thing, I know Tmaster does odd stuff but this was strange watching it happen. OMG but it's worth it in the end to not give up...We didn't and it paid off..WHEW!! This one I'll be dancing on tip toes again, it's a 5 foot high stage. Remember that last time Sally? But it's worth it, I had a blast the last time there rocking out...we will do it again...sounds like a plan!!LOL This is the show where MB talked to the fan on her sister's cell phone from the stage that I took pics of..We had such fun there the last time..Hope it's a blast again..
Real life has been crazy the last 2 weeks so this was a boost I really needed...I'm grateful we got those tickets.
Robin in MD:)
Robin and Sally.....sounds like ticket buying has become its own adventure now a days!!! Do I hear a YES for bringing back the good old Michael Bolton Gold and Platinum Fan Club Cards!!! Now those were the days. You ALWAYS got first row as long as long as you were the first several people in line at the venue OR the first several to call the hotline. At least we have those wonderful memories!! I suppose chaos adds to the excitement...LOL At least you can get to the stage Robin and it is such a relief when you already know the venue before hand. I sense a well planned concert experience for you two. Those high stages were always soooo hard on little Pam!!! Her neck would be so sore!! At least now she has the best view of MB :) Have a GREAT time ladies!!!!
Kathy and LAFD Bob
Hi Robin Md....boy lots of great tix for PA on sale here! I will have already spent enough time on a plane by May 30....or I just might have considered PA..lol You all enjoy yourselves!!!

Gosh, I'll tell you what I remember about Sands, they had new seats and they smelled so bad. I wasn't feeling well by the end of the show and ended up with a sinus infection. Which one had the drunk woman that had Michael talking to her sister on the phone? Wasn't it here? Robin, where did you end up with seats?
I don't remember any smell that made me sick but I had the aisle seat Sally..maybe that helped. I had a blast with the sisters in front of us asking MB to talk to the one that couldn't come on the phone.. That made for a lot of fun and then later the sister that had asked him to posted here. I was able to then later get one of my pics of him on the phone from the show signed at the golf that year in CT, MB was more than happy to sign it to the girl he talked to. I got the name from the sister on here.. And the address to send it to her as a surprise. That was fun doing that for the sisters!!! Good memories.
Oh and Kathy R..PS the Gold Club worked out well if you stayed up and faxed first thing at midnight for us mostly. Many venues too far to go to..we faxed many a time and had each other's copies to order more than 2, we all had it down to a science!!LOL Yeah good ol days....We all had fax machines just for that purpose..I had a calling card back then in case I got a call from one of the gals to fax from work, never knew when the info would be found out from the hotline..Good times and teamwork!!! :)
Robin in MD still behind on these threads the last few days!!LOL
