The 1st Annual Michael Bolton and Dave Mason Benefit Concert and Celebrity Golf Classic will take place on Sunday, September 26th at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, an historic resort featuring luxury accommodations, a championship golf course and Spa Ojai.

We will tee off at 9:00 a.m. at the world-class Ojai Country Club, one of the first great golf courses in California. Later that evening Michael and Dave will perform with their great bands and surprise musical guests. The evening will include a cocktail/dinner reception, silent and live auctions.

Your support will make it possible for The Michael Bolton Charities, established in 1993 to assist children and women at risk, to continue our funding to numerous agencies.

A portion of the proceeds from our event will benefit two local organizations:

Yoga Blue, Inc., a non-profit organization established in 2009 in Ojai by Winifred Wilson, whose mission is dedicated to teaching yoga to people in recovery from substance abuse, other self-destructive behaviors and domestic violence.

The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. The hospital has been treating the most seriously ill and injured in Los Angeles for more than a century and is known throughout the United States and around the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health.

If you kept on trying better single seats came up later on. Saw the Row S Seats at first too.. It's like Tmaster, no rhyme or reason...

I needed 2 seats.  My hubby is coming with me.  Well I'm going that's the important thing.  It's just disappointing having to sit anywhere but the first couple of rows.  There is nothing like it!!!!!!!!

I agree with Diane- second caller and the Orchestra section F seats were not what I expected! They aren't really bad but not what I was hoping for! The guy was not very nice at the Bushnell today.  I spoke with the evil twin of the nice man I spoke with last Wednesday. The guy said I was the second caller and he had nothing together in the middle orchestra section- nothing.  So I took the section F orchestra for fear of not getting anything else.  Second caller he said! He said that the Traveler's Group had all the middle orchestra section!!!  So I found a number for Travelers and called them up and the poor guy listened to me explain that I waited months for these tickets and was told that Travelers had the middle orchestra seats and I would he be so kind to sell me some of them.  He had no idea but said he would sell me good tickets for the golfing event...I did go back on line and found better single seats that weren't too far apart and got them.  I really did my best and kept trying to get better seats together but the single seats are in the middle section, in the first few rows and aisle seats.  I can't wait to see Michael again! and if all goes well we won't be in our seats much!!

I hope to meet some of you too!  I got my tickets online and didn't expect to get center section down front, but was hoping for front or second row on either side.  Yeah, I tried again and all there was were single seats.

I wanted to explain something here about the seating at the Bushnell. This is a charity event and in conjunction with the Travelers Championship.  Andrena made sure there were some good seats for the fans but they weren't all together and they weren't all in the front row.  The whole pit section are the $250 tickets that include the VIP reception beforehand.  The other seats are scattered because some of the Travelers packages included seats and those had to be pulled first so the individual seating were scattered.  There were seating being sold online as well as on the phone so even though you were the first or second person to call for tickets by the time you got to speak to someone some of the seats could have been sold online.

 

Hopefully all of those who are going and wanted seats have them now!  The concert is not the normal concert in such there are other artists and I doubt if you will be able to go to the stage and stand in front of the VIP tickets.  Please understand that before you go.  I have been to several of MB's gala concerts where he called the fans forward because the others weren't responding to him so I'm not saying it is a definite but please understand if you aren't allowed up front.  Also understand that this is an opportunity for MB to raise money for MBC and it is not a fan event. With that being said...let's have a blast!!! Gail

If I had known all that before hand, I wouldn't have complained!! I feel horrible!  All I wanted was to get the best possible seats for Juliet, Shannon and Keri! I just thought I was getting tickets to the concert and the charity event was the next day....talk about feeling stupid.. Lesson learned.. Lee
