The 1st Annual Michael Bolton and Dave Mason Benefit Concert and Celebrity Golf Classic will take place on Sunday, September 26th at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, an historic resort featuring luxury accommodations, a championship golf course and Spa Ojai.

We will tee off at 9:00 a.m. at the world-class Ojai Country Club, one of the first great golf courses in California. Later that evening Michael and Dave will perform with their great bands and surprise musical guests. The evening will include a cocktail/dinner reception, silent and live auctions.

Your support will make it possible for The Michael Bolton Charities, established in 1993 to assist children and women at risk, to continue our funding to numerous agencies.

A portion of the proceeds from our event will benefit two local organizations:

Yoga Blue, Inc., a non-profit organization established in 2009 in Ojai by Winifred Wilson, whose mission is dedicated to teaching yoga to people in recovery from substance abuse, other self-destructive behaviors and domestic violence.

The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. The hospital has been treating the most seriously ill and injured in Los Angeles for more than a century and is known throughout the United States and around the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health.

Found these three beautiful pictures of MB on an official photo site for the Pro-Am Competition .....enjoy because they are gorgeous......

First one is of Michael with Booker T chatting prior to teeing off........

 

Next two are of Michael firstly waving to fans and then blowing a kiss to his fans .....ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!! lol.

Haven't located final scores yet but have seen where it has been reported that Geno Auriemma, UConn and Olympic Women's Basketball coach, didn't complete the round and was taken to a medical tent and then was seen driving away from the course and he was in the team with Michael so don't know what happens about scores when one member doesn't complete round.....have read a little of the controversy surrounding him and maybe Booker T turned the "heat" up a little bit and it got too much .....oh.....naughty me !!! lol.

Nearly 1.30 here so I am hitting the sack.....golf or no golf my eyes are closing !!! LOL.

Article on the results for the Pro-Am Travelers Championship competition of yesterday.........

"The 2012 Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am was yet again another crowd pleaser. Local and national celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment gathered at TPC River Highlands to tee it up alongside PGA TOUR professionals. 

The celebrity field included actor Bill Murray, singers/songwriters Javier Colon and Michael Bolton, ESPN’s Chris Berman and Karl Ravech, WWE superstar Booker T, UConn Women’s Basketball Coach Geno Auriemma, UConn Associate Men’s Basketball coach George Blaney, Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Doug Flutie, NFL Hall of Famer Andre Tippett, University of Hartford Women’s Basketball coach Jennifer Rizzotti, Quinnipiac Head Men’s Basketball Coach Tom Moore and Assistant Scott Burrell, actor James Naughton, sportscaster Ahmad Rashad, in addition to UConn Director of Athletics Warde Manuel.

With a score of 52, J.B. Holmes’ team of Bill Murray, Scott Burrell and Ahmad Rashad took first place. Bo Van Pelt’s team consisting of Rich Rosenthal, George Blaney and Tom Moore came in with 53 for a second place finish. In third place was Rory Sabbatini’s team with David Rowland, Robert Postma and Tracey Picker. 

Javier Colon who teed it up with Bubba Watson this morning stayed late to play in the PowerStation Events Concert Series. Colon played to an enthusiastic crowd who kept the action going after the golf had ended. 

The opening round of the 2012 Travelers Championship begins Thursday morning with starting times beginning at 6:50 a.m. Tickets are available at TravelersChampionship.com"

I do hope below link works for everyone for video was shot yesterday at the Pro-Am and you see Michael hitting a shot and then a little bit of him where he is standing talking to Booker T and then further on a reporter walks with him and talks with him about the heat......not exceptionally long shot but as the whole video is only about two minutes long Michael gets pretty good coverage and you see that smile too !! :)    Enjoy !!! :)
