The 1st Annual Michael Bolton and Dave Mason Benefit Concert and Celebrity Golf Classic will take place on Sunday, September 26th at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, an historic resort featuring luxury accommodations, a championship golf course and Spa Ojai.
We will tee off at 9:00 a.m. at the world-class Ojai Country Club, one of the first great golf courses in California. Later that evening Michael and Dave will perform with their great bands and surprise musical guests. The evening will include a cocktail/dinner reception, silent and live auctions.
Your support will make it possible for The Michael Bolton Charities, established in 1993 to assist children and women at risk, to continue our funding to numerous agencies.
A portion of the proceeds from our event will benefit two local organizations:
Yoga Blue, Inc., a non-profit organization established in 2009 in Ojai by Winifred Wilson, whose mission is dedicated to teaching yoga to people in recovery from substance abuse, other self-destructive behaviors and domestic violence.
The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. The hospital has been treating the most seriously ill and injured in Los Angeles for more than a century and is known throughout the United States and around the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health.

I believe that Michaels daughter Isa is there aswell. She was woken up by the green keepers mowing the lawn at 5am today! Ha Ha!!
I cant wait to see photos from anybody who can upload them.

I haven't seen Isa yet but did sit on the golf course all day to explain the hole in one. Michael came through about 1:15 and was heading over to practice dancing and then do the show. He said he was feeling better. He was going to see how things went tonight and may not sing as long as he usually does. He looked good...we were both sweating and hair wet...so neither at our best...well at least not me!LOL He wanted me to say again how much he appreciates everyone's support on the DWTS and he hopes to have less nerves this time but he said it isn't the easiest thing to do. He is having fun but waiting for the time when he can dance and not concentrate so much on the steps....he hopes that will come this time.
He said he had read some of the comments on the blogs...and had read that you guys were voting overseas as well as the US and he can't tell you all how fantastic he thinks that is!!! He asked me to tell you to please keep it up!!!

We are all VERY PROUD of him and the fact that he plans to continue performing concerts is testament to his dedication to his fans.

Thanks Gail for the update. I was away all weekend and just now catching up. OMG it was 99 degrees there yesterday?? I know how you feel, was that hot at the golf in CT in June.. I am so glad he's feeling better and hope the event went well last night. Waiting to see him dance tonight. It's a very different thing for him and I'm so proud of him doing it.. will be ready and voting again tonight!

Michael's event went really well this weekend. The Ojai resort and golf club were absolutely beautiful and as always the event coordinators did a fantastic job. I don't know how much was raised yet but it looked like things went really well. I did take a number of pictures and when I share a lot of pictures I use a website and program called smilebox. You don't have to have this program on your computer and you don't have to download my pictures to view them...hopefully this works for everyone. At the end of the pictures are a few videos as well. THANKS so much Gail. Loved seeing all the pics and the videos were great. MB sounded good!!! Brings back memories of him and Dave jamming in CT last year..Love all the celebs came out to support MB and play golf.
