I am so excited, my husband bought two tickets for me and my mom tom see the concert this October 10th.

My mom has been a fan of Michael Bolton since I have known her, her first cassette, VHS, VCD, and DVD's always has been Michael Bolton.

She is from Madagascar, she has been here in the U.S. for 2 years now. Her Dream was always to meet Michael Bolton in person doesn't sound possible back in Madagascar but now that she is here her dream could come true, I just need a little help getting in touch with the right person. Please help!

On top of that she will l turn 50 on October 10th the day of the Concert! I could already see the look at her face and the happiness she would express if this could happen.

I am also a fan of Michael Bolton so does my sister it's contagious in my family but for now it's all about my mother, she has been a great mother.

Thank you

Eva

Hi Eva and WELCOME to the forum and so glad you have tickets for, show is a sell out, although Harrah's have tweeted that they have now released a further 20 seats but think they might go pretty quickly.

I would suggest that you get in touch with the venue to see about possibility of backstage pass as a lot of times they are the ones who deal with that.  I would put your story to them and see what happens but a lot of times, in that situation, you might not get to know until actual day if it will happen, or not, for they generally tell you to go to box office when you arrive at theatre to see if anything left for you.  At least that is how things have been reported by others who have done something similar and have to warn you it does not always work out but sometimes it does......wishing you the best of luck !!! :)  Person, I believe, to ask for would be venue's entertainment manager although do not quote me on their title but definitely, aim for the top.  Have to remind you that there is always the stage door for Michael has to come out of a venue at some time unless a hotel is attached and he is staying night.

Can I let you know we do have a Tour Review thread on here so, if once your concert is over, if you feel like sharing your "Bolton Adventure" with us please feel free to pop in and let us know all that has happened.  Even right now, if you want to put your story on there, believe no one would have any objection and here is link into thread:

I made my research but I couldn't find any contact information about the venue's entertainment manager for the Kansas City Concert. Could you please help!

I just sent an email to the Venue hopefully it would get to the right person. Finger crossed!

Hopefully that will help Eva and you will hear back from them.    What I was meaning was for you to phone them and here is a general number for the venue +1 816-472-7777 and one which comes under "events" and it is 816-889-4237.  I am sorry for I do not know what codes mean in the USA on telephone numbers but hopefully you will understand their meaning between the two numbers.    I know a few girls that have contacted venues by phone and have spoken to the people responsible and put their cases for back stage passes and some have been successful.   I do hope you are successful and the trick is to just keep plugging away and don't give up until the very last minute.  Good Luck Eva !!! :)

Hi Eva and welcome to the forum. First of all, it’s wonderful to hear that the love of Michael and his music has spread throughout your family. Added to Sylvia’s suggestions, I can tell you that some people I know have had success writing to the promoter of the event in getting a backstage pass. I’ve also heard you can buy one from Michael Bolton Charities, but they can be expensive. Sometimes, some are sold on web sites like Charitybuzz. You could also try writing or calling your local radio station that plays Michael’s music, to ask if they have a promotion, giving away backstage passes. Lastly, you could write to our moderator Gail at boltoninfo@aol.com and state your case. All Gail can do is forward the info to Michael’s office, but since Michael recieves so many requests, his tour manager helps sort requests out and there are no guarantees either way. Sometimes, the best way is to simply wait at the stage door long enough after the show, if you can spot the limo. I hope that helps. In any case, you and your family have a fabulous time on October 10 sweetie and hope you come back in the tour thread to let us know how it went! Take care Eva and break a leg. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Thank you I wrote to Gail hopefully it would work out. I am so excited. I also forgot to mentioned she didn't know we bought the ticket yet! It's big surprise!

Hi again Eva,  aww, you're a sweet daughter... :D As I've said, it's great that you wrote to Gail, but  please know that there are no guarantees and if you can, try calling the venue or your local radio station, or write to the promoter: that way, you have more chances of succeeding. In any case, whatever happens, you know you'll have a  great time sweetie. I do hope you let us know how the surprise went and again: break a leg! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

I didn't hear back from my last email but I see where you checked with the venue so that's great! Gail
