Following is part of old description for thread when concept for album was first mentioned, by Michael, in 2015 and this thread was started. Decided to leave as little bit of history and insight for those interested and might not have seen all our "discussions" leading up to this wonderful day.  Pages 1 - 27 contain old material so please head to page 28 for all the new stuff and also check out new description, contained below starting at "Please go to ......."

 As it is now 10th FEBRUARY and Michael's new CD "SONGS OF CINEMA" has been released am updating this page/thread so that everyone can come together and join in discussion and leave review of CD.

Michael has posted a photo of himself to his FB page and it is one he published in his book where he says he is practicing in Marc's basement and he calls himself an introvert.  Here is what he has posted with pic on FB:

He has also put a post out on FB saying he posted an up date to Pledge Music yesterday, don't know about any of you, but I certainly never got notification from them that Michael had been on and posted an up date, did anyone ????   Here is his FB post:

Just to say have discovered my Pledge Music e-mail telling me Michael was on yesterday ..... it had gone into spam:  first time for everything, I guess !!! LOL

Quite funny the way things work out for generally at some point during the day I jump onto the site to check and just see what people have put in and so far hadn't done that today either.  Think I had better start prioritising what I look at first and actually have a good excuse right now for being behind as we are having an Indian Summer here and it is beautiful.  I am getting lot of shrubs cut back and have to get out to front in morning to work as by getting to midday it is toooooooooooooo warm .....nearly October and too warm to work, fantastic !!!! :)  Have been doing that each morning and then spending a little hour or so in back until sun reaches round there and then lying sunbathing for rest of day and, AND it is forecast to last until next Monday, at least, for they don't see a break in it .....wonderful !!! :)

Michael has posted another up-date to his FB page detailing about third song he is recording for album and it is Ray Charles's "I've Got A Woman" and here is Michael's write-up

Michael has sent below tweet with regard to Q&A he is doing again on Pledge Music on Friday.

He has posted a lovely photo on FB and not sure if it is in connection with Detroit Documentary or if he is on the set of the pilot for sit-com as in some respects that is what it looks more like.   Have asked him on FB but doubt will get answer but if do will post on here.  For Sylvie and Robin Michael is standing leaning against and with his foot resting on one of the spars of one of the huge lights that they use outdoors when filming and you can see other bits of equipment and building you can see at back of Michael just somehow looks more part of a set than something real but, of course, might be totally wrong .... has been known, hasn't it, for me to get things wrong ????!!!! LOL

Hi Sylvia, thanks for the pic description. I'd be leaning towards the pilot more than the documentary, since to my knowledge, GKD is supposed to have wrapped filming last Friday. On pic am questioning because they have been putting out a lot of "old" pictures taken during filming of documentary.  People are asking Michael on FB and Twitter about time but if memory serves right it was either on day he announced time a few hours before when he did last one or just day before.  Will post on here as soon as something definite said.
