Thought I would start this thread for there does appear, at times, to be different relevant articles, tweets, retweets, pictures etc relating to Michael but not really fitting into an already recognized thread nor, each of them individually, being able to be grouped together where a relevant thread could be started and so decided on this "Miscellany" thread.
I hope you agree with its relevance and that you enjoy everything that is put in as well as hoping that many will find interesting tidbits about Michael that can be included and help to make this, whilst a serious sharing of information, a FUN page to be able to visit too and, as is my intention, somewhere that everything which does not have a particular "home" can be placed, so that is all grouped together and can be easily found and located if someone wants to look at.
Here now, so that we can all focus on the main reason for this thread, is a beautiful picture of the "Theme" of the thread.......wonder if MB has ever been called that before ???? LOL.
Believe this one definitely belongs in here for I would say sharing with us that coconut sorbet is his favourite dessert is both miscellaneous and more than extremely relevant to the "THEME" of this website and in particular, to this thread !! LOL.
Hope everyone enjoys content and feels free to add their very own miscellany !!! :)

Miracles singer Bobby Rogers dead at 73
Miracles were cornerstone Motown act
UPDATED 12:28 AM CST Mar 04, 2013
REUTERS/Fred Prouser
(CNN) —Bobby Rogers, an original member of Motown staple The Miracles, has died, the group's longtime front man Smokey Robinson announced Sunday.
Rogers was 73.
"Another soldier in my life has fallen," Robinson said in a statement to CNN. "Bobby Rogers was my brother and a really good friend. He and I were born on the exact same day in the same hospital in Detroit. I am really going to miss him. I loved him very much."
Claudette Robinson, another member of the Miracles, said that while Rogers was her cousin, he was more "like a brother to me." On her website, she said he died around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
"Bobby will be missed and mourned by many," said Robinson, who was once married to Smokey Robinson and serves as the Miracles spokeswoman. "Rest in peace, my brother of 'song.' "
Robinson, Rogers and the rest of the Miracles were a cornerstone act for writer-producer Berry Gordy's infant Motown Records, putting songs such as "Shop Around," "Tracks of My Tears" and "The Tears of a Clown" on the R&B and pop charts throughout the 1960s. After Robinson left the group, the Miracles had a No. 1 hit with "Love Machine" in 1976.
When the group disbanded in the late 1970s, Rogers started an interior design business. The Miracles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
Thought I would bring this over here considering Michael's involvement in Motown and in particular with Smokey Robinson and obviously too because another sad day in our lifes to learn another of the greats has left us !! :(

Quite a lot of tweets all flying about just now because seemingly Ashley Judd has indicated that she may run for the Senate in 2014 and everyone is jumping on the band wagon and saying has she ruined her chances by admitting that she once dated Michael Bolton and there is a lovely picture of both of them taken in November, 1997 which I will put below.....it is all quite funny and very obviously all done in fun .....the publicity might do her no harm whatsoever !!!! :)
"But could this one little-known yet damaging fact about her past ruin any chance at a United States Senate seat she may have?
In her 2011 memoir “All That is Bitter and Sweet,” Judd writes that she dated singer ”no-talent ass clown” Michael Bolton for six weeks. Yes, that Michael Bolton.
Judd writes that even though the two dated for a short time, she said the singer “made a poignant impression on my life.” She probably shouldn’t have admitted that. BUT SHE DID."

Hello Sylvia,
could you give me some details from the message you set, while remaining respectful and course correction, I know MB for too long, could you tell me how long they stayed together and when you say "no talent ass clown "what does that mean, in French it is a very bad translation and I would not misunderstand, I hope you not bothered by asking you information but I would happy to know
merci beaucoup
katia

Sylvia thank you for having the time to answer me, I really appreciate it. It is not very nice comments from Asley and this is what I understood, but it is better that you reassure me in understanding. Too bad she had been angry Asley, but hey it's their story, not very nice to spread it in a book. But hey, the relationship between human beings are sometimes winding. Thank you again and good evening
katia
Hi Katia,
maybe there is a misunderstanding going on here so I dare to pop in here.
This bad expression (no talent ...) is a quote from "Office space", a movie from 1999, and a very harsh critique on the (our LOL!) singer Michael Bolton by a man sharing the same name (indeed, there are quite a few men called Michael Bolton) which was supposed to be "funny" ( or not). From my perspective, the author used this expression, and not Ashley. In opposition to this painful quote, she expressed gratitude and appreciation, since MB's love encouraged her to deal with her depression:
http://ashley-judd.com/media/magazines/the-fabulous-judd-no-one-knows/:
...
Now Ashley Judd talks about her painful childhood, her recent depression, and the one (very special, very famous) man who saw her through it. ...
In October 1996, at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Judd was introduced to Michael Bolton by her sister, who was singing a duet with him for the show. When Ashley appeared backstage at Wynonna’s urging, well, sparks flew.
Ironically, it was the happiness of her new love with Bolton and the security she derived from that relationship that, Judd says, gave her the strength to recognize her own pain in the midst of her illness. “Michael was loving me in such a way that I felt safe enough to express my depression,” she says. “I felt so completely and deeply loved that whatever I was and whatever I needed to feel was okay. And it just came out.”
I think this misunderstanding is due to whether abbreviated text or false quotation. Ashley is mentioned briefly, but highly appreciated in MB's memoir, The Soul of it all.
Unfortunately my french is more than low, so I hope google translate may help us:
http://ashley-judd.com/media/magazines/the-fabulous-judd-no-one-knows/:
...
Wow, what a nice explaination Astrid: thanks for coming to the rescue! :D That's a nice little bit of article too. If there's anything Katia didn't get, I'll explain it to her in a PM. Thanks again Astrid, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada
Hello Astrid,
Thank you really for coming to my rescue, I prefer better understand how things must be said, finally avoided incomprehension. Anyway, that are part of the private life, but I did not understand the fact to say that in a book.
Thank you so much for taking the time for me, I really appreciate
Trés belle journée à toi
katia

Hi Kellie, I did a little poking around the site last night and the only Harrah's article I could find was one from 2012, when I did a general search of the site.
