Miscellany but exceptionally relevant information about, or from Michael on, MB.

Thought I would start this thread for there does appear, at times, to be different relevant articles, tweets, retweets, pictures etc relating to Michael but not really fitting into an already recognized thread nor, each of them individually, being able to be grouped together where a relevant thread could be started and so decided on this "Miscellany" thread.

I hope you agree with its relevance and that you enjoy everything that is put in as well as hoping that many will find interesting tidbits about Michael that can be included and help to make this, whilst a serious sharing of information, a FUN page to be able to visit too and, as is my intention, somewhere that everything which does not have a particular "home" can be placed, so that is all grouped together and can be easily found and located if someone wants to look at.

Here now, so that we can all focus on the main reason for this thread, is a beautiful picture of the "Theme" of the thread.......wonder if MB has ever been called that before ???? LOL.

Believe this one definitely belongs in here for I would say sharing with us that coconut sorbet is his favourite dessert is both miscellaneous and more than extremely relevant to the "THEME" of this website and in particular, to this thread  !! LOL.

Hope everyone enjoys content and feels free to add their very own miscellany !!! :)

A separate thread has been created for the Q&A Session and it can be found at  http://www.michaelbolton.com/forum/topics/michael-s-question-and-an...

Just popping on with correction here for last night's game was played at the Quicken Loans Arena which is in Cleveland, Ohio so Michael had travelled there from Detroit to see game.  In the morning/afternoon he had been at Quicken Loans Offices which are in Detroit.....get it right yet !!! LOL

Twitter is now alive with this news and it is that Michael annotated the new Kayne West CD "Never Let Me Down" because he uses Blackjack's "Maybe It's The Power Of Love" which Michael wrote and Kayne and Jay-Z's publishing reps got in touch with Michael as they wanted him to approve it which he has done.

Thanks for all the updates. I just saw that article on Never Let Me Down. How cool is that!!! MB had a fun night for his birthday way it looks. I'm glad he got to enjoy himself and relax a bit!!!  Isn't this the same venue he did the ice show in last fall?  Sounds like the same one in Cleveland.

Thanks for all the goodies here.

Robin in MD :)

Yes, this is the same venue as the fabulous ice show last November.    Dan Gilbert is primary owner of Cleveland Cavaliers NBA basketball team and Quicken Loans (Detroit, MI) which has naming rights for this arena in downtown Cleveland.    He is also involved in Michael's Detroit project based upon all of the twitter notes we have seen over the past year or so.

Hi Sylvia, well I know this article was posted today, but this is really old news.  Kanye’s “College dropout” CD was out in February 2004. Check it out:

Michael has been mentioning the sample in interviews for years, so I’m wondering why they’re mentioning it now. Well anyway, thanks for the article Sylvia, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Thanks for information Sylvie and it is still a little bit on Twitter this morning.  Strange for it wasn't just individuals that were tweeting it for it was different internet media outlets and music outlets too so maybe as there was such activity for Michael with his birthday greetings someone decided to add a little bit more cred to him for those that possibly, like me, didn't know anything about and I must say I am not aware of Michael having made mention of it in interviews but of course, if around the 2004 period, my life wasn't quite on track to be that interested in what Michael was saying.  Thanks again for info !!! :)

Hi Sylvia, maybe you haven't noticed because Michael mentions it in passing, listing his songwriting credits. Sweetie, it's even on the "About" page on this site:

According to the listing on the CD Universe page I found, it’s not John Legend who sings on "Never let me down", so I’m not sure where the mention of John Legend comes from, but I also found this one, Jay-Z Featuring Notorious B.I.G. with “A dream”, sampling Black Jack’s “Stay”:

Now Petra, see if you can hear this one:

Kanye West “Never let me down”

Well anyway, I hope this helps. Take care ladies. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Thank you for the article Sylvia. Unfortunately, the video is in Germany not released. Again not!!! :((

Petra (Germany)

Just to say because I am still picking up photos from Michael's Detroit and Cleveland visit I've created an album for them all instead of keeping on adding to thread and thought too when it took in his birthday and birthday cake, why not, and here is link:

Crain's story flies high with Michael Bolton

Happy sunday to all

Thanks very  much indeed for that link Brigitte G....danke !!! :)  Believe Michael probably reading because Fornier, who is mentioned, was pretty sarcastic about Michael's documentary in a tweet he put out not long ago in reply to Terris.....Michael doesn't half keep tabs on things, nice to see !!! :)
