Hi Tracy and WELCOME to the website !!! :)

Personally, on your find, I would give it the widest berth possible !!!! LOL  Depending what store it was, where you found it, I would be inclined to ask the manager where they acquired it and how many they have.  Believe a product which should be burnt along with all other fake goods which is how Customs and Excise deal with fake goods in the UK.

If it is not too dear maybe you could buy it for the FUN value and see what CD does sound like ...... scratchy and squeaky are two terms that come to mind immediately on just how it might sound ....LOL

Good luck with it !!! :)

Hi Tracy and welcome to the forum. Well I’m not an expert, but I’ve heard there are sites you can visit that can help you determine whether your CD is a fake. I’ve been told that there are a lot of bootlegs in Japan, but sometimes, they do have their own releases. You might want to check out Amazon in japan, if your CD has an OB strip. The playlist on your CD doesn’t sound like a North American playlist, although they come up with new compilations often enough to  lose track. I’ll be honest with you, the fact that some titles are misspelled sounds unprofessional, so even though it might have been done by a company, it might not be a reputable one. As Sylvia said, you might want to ask the store owner where he got it, or even check amazon.com since they do have a ton of compilations, but off hand, I would say I doubt it would have been issued by Michael’s people. What kind of booklet does it have? In any case, if you’re wondering about the value to sell as a rarety,  some people will buy anything, but if you’re a fan,  it sounds like an oddity not many people may have. I hope that hehlps Tracy. Take care and good luck, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Thank you for the input... Its not open and does have a universal emblem... marked CD-25  with a UCP Code of 6900558190663.

If anyone has more info, thanks before hand.

BTW... I did not pay a lot, so not real concerned.
