Hey Silvia PS, not that it's important, but Michael's eyes are not blue, they're hazel. I can't see them either but I've heard that they make his eyes look blue in pictures, but Michael himself has said in an interview that his eyes were "green brown". As I said, it's not important... :D Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
I used to have brown eyes&some of even said hazel. I'm not sure but now, they're blue. Hmm. Boltonnut from L. A. CA USA

Hi Sylvie, Silvia PS and Robin R.

there is something strange about MB's eyes. I was sitting first row in Dresden and on stage his eyes appeared blue to me, but when we met backstage they were definitely hazel ....LOL

Astrid

Hey Astrid, it could just be the lighting, who knows? :D I only know what I heard directly from him... Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Awesome Astrid, you got to go backstage. Wow! I'm glad for you. Boltonnut from L. A. CA USA

Good evening / Good morning

and, first of all, congratulations for the initiative of creating this very nice Tour Forum, where you travel with Michael to all his concerts, around the world.

Thank you for the very nice messages regarding your interest for the concert in Porto. Thank you for the reference sent by Sylvie and Sylvia leading me to visit your Forum.

After reading some of your dialogues, I got the feeling that you are a nice group of friends, like a little family, exchanging news and thoughts in a joyful, fun, and caring way.

And I don´t forget that I said - yes, of course I will be very glad to tell you about the concert. ( Taking place in that city, which I probably know a little better than any other in the world. )

Time flies quickly, or maybe we fly quickly through time, but it´s never too late to keep a promise.

( Although it is a little late right here :) ... or too early :) ... - but that has to do with my old habits of staying in the little office, sometimes, until a little too late... )

*******

It was in July. In the morning the sun was bright and warm, seasoned by a little fresh wind.

At one of the little esplanades, by the ocean, the nice sound of the waves and the smell of a nice coffee.

Also the sound of the wind ( good for sailing ... :)

The day went by, with the rythm of different places and happenings and with the idea of a new little project – to make the first movie, with the tiny pocket camera I had travelled with and which I had used only for pictures.

( But I would never guess the surprise I was going to have later on, as some technical problem ( and information ) ruined the whole work, made so carefully.

At first it was a little sad, but the most important is never ruined. - Nothing can ever ruin the most important. )

The end of the afternoon arrived. The ocean esplanades were almost empty.

- Was it because of the wind… ? :)

( No... :) , I think they were dressing up for the concert. )

Downtown the wind was softer, the streets were busy with a heavy traffic. Many people heading to the entrance of the Theatre.

The Concert was about to begin – at Sunset time.

Entering the hall, I had the very nice surprise of seing and meeting Kenny G, who was signing his Cds. A very sweet charming person, a great talented musician.

The first part of the concert began with Kenny G suddenly playing in the middle of the audience - and creating a very beautiful, surprising and informal atmosphere.

Kenny G and his great band played throughout the first part.

During all the concert there was a special ambiance, a great sound, a wonderful performance and, often, some sketches of very good humour.

( Kenny G said, at some point, he would keep signing his CDs during the break, so that the audience wouldn´t get bored while the stage was being prepared for Michael´s performance. )

And later the second part of the concert began.

Michael entered the stage “ Like a shooting-star “. - With that striking beautiful sound of the long journeys of the brave hearts.

Singing classics and recent songs, his performance was wonderful, fantastic. With strength, energy and emotion. - With heart and soul.

Joining Michael were his great band and also the guest singer Rita Guerra, who sang beautifully with him.

Kenny G and Michael performed together one song - one very special song - which brings back the company of the great, wonderful, dear Ray Charles.

With “ Georgia on my mind “ the concert had one of the highest, most magic moments, shining up - like a stairway to heaven.

Later on, as the concert ended, the stars were brighter and the sky was falling asleep in the most peaceful way. - That is probably because the universe is made of music, emotion and light.

I wish you will keep up your beautiful journey, with love and joy.

Hi Maria,

thank you so much for your touching review - perfect timing for me to make my day and remind me of what is essential.

Best wishes from Germany

Astrid

Hi girls, specially to Robin R. and to Sylvie I want to apologize to you if I hurt you with my silly comment, but I could never tell you couldn´t see,you look so nice in your pictures, I´m sorry and hope you are not upset with me. I talked about Michael´s blue eyes because I find him so handsome but his voice is so wonderful that the colour of his eyes is just a complement,he´s such a great human being that it beats any physical looks. I have a nice poem that I want to share" It takes a minute to find a special person,an hour to appreciate her,a day to love her but an entire life to forget her."

As for me, I´m a mother of 3, I have 2 sons 18 and 9 and a 13 years old daughter that is my faithful companion to concerts. She loves "Murder my heart" because she`s a fan of Lady Gaga.My 9 years old loves to hear "Steel Bars"with Orianthi because he likes the guitars and always wants to hear it in the car when I take him to school. I have a busy life taking care of them but I´m very proud of my family. For bad days I have Michael´s music to overcome difficulties.Music can heals your heart.Take care : ) Silvia PS

Hey Silvia PS, no harm done, I assure you, you don't need to apologize! We are like a family here and Robin and I are very fortunate to have such sweet friends who know we're blind and offer help when we need it  and we do the same if we can, so much that it's not even an issue. I know what it's like: I have 4 kids myself. Only 2 of them appreciate Michael's music and have it on their Ipods, but my eldest son does enjoy the "Jack Sparrow" song. Have you seen the video of that song Silvia? I obviously haven't seen it, but friends have done a very good job at describing it for me! Whatever separates or differenciates us, Michael's music unites us all and life is good! :D Take care sweetie. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
