Thanks for the review Eileen, happy to hear you still enjoyed the show in spite of the awful security people.  At his concert in Henderson, NV last year Nelson motioned for everyone to come up to the stage and a similar thing happened.  One security guy tried pushing everyone away from the stage, but it didn't work, everyone started yelling saying that Michael said it's okay for us to be there and one of the workers from the venue told him to let us stay.  There always seems to be one jerk that wants to ruin everything.  Anyway, it sounds as though you still had a good time.

I was at the concert in henderson. I heard someone's big mouth but continued on. He was hassling someone about a video or something. Please!!!!!!!! it's a power&control thing with some security guard but a great time was had by all then. I'll never forget it that's for sure. Michael came up to me several times&held my hand&at the last moment, gave me a guitar pick.

Hi Robin, the concert in Henderson was a blast even though security tried ruining it, and believe me, I won't forget it either.

Ok, I may be late, but just got back from Cherokee NC!  First off, like I said to get there, I felt like the postman, you know, through wind, rain, sleet and snow, nothing will stop me from seeing Michael!!!  It was soooooo worth it, FANTASTIC show!!! This show was a sellout, with a pretty loud crowd.  Met up with several people form the forum here and met some new fans, met several Robin's!!!!  This show, met a few really young fans, it is nice to see how his music is being loved by mid 20 yr olds along with his so called core fans!! Great to see his music continue to larger groups...

He started out a little different, he didn't come out singing, they just played Go the Distance like usual, then he just walked out and began talking! He said the usual stuff like, make all the noise you want and he encouraged it, placed people around etc, take all the pictures you want and encouraged it, he just said make sure you have good light so he looks good, LOL! and then said he'd take request and try to fill them, well I yelled out from the front row, Georgia, and he looked at me at said, in due time and winked and waved!! That was too cool!!!  Then he went in to singing To Love Somebody...the setlist had changed some from the last time, took out most of the Sinata songs, but added Steel Bars and Sweet Home Chicago.  This setlist was a little shorter, but a wonderful show....he interacted alot and was in great voice and looked fantastic!!!!  When he went out to the middle for WAMLAW, it took him forever to get back to the stage!!  The song was almost over by the time he finally got back up there, the stairs were on the far side instead of in the middle, so the whole front row on the left side got a wonderful treat!!!! This is the first time to be on the other side, and of course, he plays the other side alot more, so some pictures, but not too many great ones....but when he did get back up to the stage, he finally came to our side!!  I took him a small bouquet of flowers and when he was just about finished with WAMLAW, he turned around to go back to the other side, then he saw me holding the flowers up and turned around and came back to get them from me, he held my hand before he took them, then got ready to put them on the stand and turn back around and gave me a HUGE smile and said THANK YOU so sweetly!!!!!  I about melted!!!  My husband got a picture of him taking the flowers from me but not quick enough to get the smile, but that is ok, I will remember that look for a long time!!!!!!  It was so great!!  Then on the next song, Karen had a rose for him and he got ready to go to other side, and came back to get hers!!!!  I think she melted right there!!!!!!  It was a wonderful show, just never, never long enough!!!!!  It should last for hours and hours LOL !!!!  Then he came out for the encore of Rock me Baby, the longer version and then said I had a request for this song, then sang Georgia.....hummmmmm who wanted that sung, but meeeeeeee....Like I said, WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC show.....never will get enough of him!!!

Never saw him after the show, but did get to visit with some of the band members for a while by one of the bars with a few people I met there...that was alot of fun.  My husband really enjoyed talking to them, so that made for a great night....One of these days, maybe he will meet Michael also, who knows!!! One of the things at this concert was to see alot of younger folks that were really enjoying his music along with his "core" fans he calls us, I have to say, I was proud to see that.  A couple of younger girls I met, very young , mid 20's, had even drove down from Ohio to see him. They happened to be at the bar with us and I told them MB was in Ohio next week and they didn't even know!!!  They thought this was the closest for them!!!! So who knows, they may go back and see some more concerts next week a lot closer!!  How funny!

Oh yeah, when we left yesterday, coming back through the mountains, there was a bus broke down on the side of the road just like the one the band had!!  We thought about stopping, but did not see anyone around it!  Boy I hope it wasn't them, if it were, we could have driven them the rest of the way LOL!!  But I am sure they got there safely and was just  a bus that looked like theirs!!!!  That could have been fun, huh?

I have a few good pictures and will post them later.

Hey Kerie, Thanks so much for your post. I felt your excitement when MB took your flowers and thanked you! Woo Hoo way to go girl.. I love it.. I wonder if the show will be different then in Cleveland? I would request Murder My Heart if he says it there and see what reaction I would get!!LOL He knows I want that one...but will see... Sounds like he rocked out with Rock Me and I love that long version!!!!!!!!! It's neat to see younger people in the crowds too I agree.. I like the comments about good lighting for pics!!LOL he's getting into that and what fun!!!
