Hi Sylvia, to my knowledge, I believe the prize  was supposed to be  a signed CD on Twitter, although granted, the page didn't say which CD. Guess Tweeters will find out soon enough. Take care Sylvia. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Hallo Christine, thanks again for posting the better quality one. It sounds like Michael was quite appreciated in Poland, wasn't he? This would sound nice on the deluxe version, but Michael is doing so many duets these days, the deluxe version is working it's way into a triple CD! lol Thanks again Christine and have a great weekend, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Wow Christine, great finds!!! Do you have an idea which tv appearance this was?

Call you soon LOL

Astrid

Hi girls, well first, thank you Christine for bringing those over here sweetie! I’m really wondering where the CITYT is coming from. I double-checked and it’s not the one from the “Pavarotti & friends” program, judging by the voice. Then again, I don’t know what Michael looks like in the video but off hand, I’d say this is not a recent performance. Now Astrid, if you were asking about the Michael with Céline Dion performance, this was on the 1993 Juno Awards. Hope that helps. Take care girls. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Sylvie,

thank you for adding the data concerning the Celin Dion performance. I was looking for  CITYT too. He wore a black suit with black t-shirt (long hair, same time as the Pavarotti event I guess) and in the beginning there was an American flag shown so probably not an U.S. performance, definitely not Pavarotti Since CITYT is translated into Spanish below he may have performed in Spain or - more likely to me - in South America. The person who uploaded the video uses the Spanish language on his/her youtube channel and the video only had 74 vistors up to now since it has been uploaded on 7/20/11.

Greetings from

Astrid

Hi again Astrid, yes I had read the text being in Spanish. Maybe someone started uploading their old performances on tape, as a lot of Americans do, wish I could do that! :D BTW, the Junos, in case you didn’t know, ar the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys. Not being a big fan of most Canadian music, I missed that one. Take care Astrid. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hey Juliet, it's not available in Canada so, care to share the obvious reason? :D Just curious. Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Hi again Juliet, that's okay sweetie, noone does that for me here so I'll wait for Astrid's description: she does it so well! lol In the meantime, thanks for the mental picture!  :D Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

"§$"7/(%§§" ?!?!?!?

Again not available in Germany - Grrrrrr LOL

Was it the original video? This would be obvious for me LOL

Good night Juliet

Greetings from Astrid

Hi Sylvie,

thanks for the further explanation. Indeed I did not know about the Junos! So Canadian music does not suit you - hm, did you know about e.g. Leonard Cohen and his "Hallelujah" ??? LOL and there is Paul Anka, Bryan Adams, Michael Bublé, ok - Justin Bieber hm, KD Lang ... LOL

Good night from Germany

Astrid

Hi Astrid, notice I said « most” Canadian music: I love Bryan Adams and do enjoy  Michael Bublé also. I love this French Canadian singer named Corneille and this group Jacksoul, but the leader of the band passed on about a year or so ago, but that was a great soul group. You see, I’m a voices person and not many voices in Canada do it for me, but I do enjoy some songs here and there. And to answer your question, as I’ve said before, I’ve never liked any of Leonard Cohen’s performances of his own songs so I’ve never researched his lyrics. Now, I can’t say anything nice about his voice so I’ll refrain. I apologize for being a little too opinionated… ;D Take care sweetie and goodnight. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

For heaven's sake Sylvie, as often said here, we all have our opinions ... LOL  ... and I was only joking my dear ...

Have a great day

Astrid
