Wow, thanks for sharing that Jen! Well, you never know, he might do   that for the Valentine's show with Kenny G like he used to... Don't you wish you were there? :D Thanks again for sharing Jennifer, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Jennifer,

thank you - you make me going to bed with an ongoing laughter. What precious memories you have to share. Thank you so much.

I would love to see him united with Kenny G. on valentine's day ...

Astrid.

I found this video of MB with Kenny G singing Georgia on my Mind, it is 15 minutes long but great to hear a different sounding version. It is from a concert (unless it is from a previous dvd) but no idea from which and no date given on the post either. Was hoping someone might recognise from when it is, usually Sylvie from Canada is great at recognising the differences in MB's voice and can maybe work out from which decade it is from!

Hi Özlem, lol I think I'm getting a reputation! :D Sweetie, I know exactly where it comes from! It's from a bootleg CD called "L'amour fou" recorded in Paris, during the 1991-1992 TLT tour. As soon as I heard the first few notes, I recognized it, because it starts with an interlude, probably while Michael was changing. Friends, that version, to me, is my absolute ultimate best version of "Georgia" EVER! Listen to the end but get some ice and grab on to something sturdy, it is HOTTT! lol If you agree with me, you can download it from this page:

Thanks for the vote of confidence Öz! :D Take care sweetie and thanks a lot for sharing it! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Sylvie, See I was right I knew you would know where and when it was from! I am keeping an eye out for that CD on ebay, I would like to hear the whole CD. Glad you liked the clip, and yes the ending is worth listening for the whole 15 minutes!

Sylvie B. A thousand "thank you's"  to you is not too much for the soundfiles hint.I cannot spend time on the computer right now,but are all those downloads working? That's sooo great, because it is so organised and easy to access.thank you .Angelica
Hi Angelica, you're very welcome for the link. If there's anything that doesn't work on that page, let Jan, the webmaster know and she'll re-upload it if need be. Just make sure you read carefully if the file you want is an actual download or an external link. I'll tell ya, that page is a tresure chest and I recommend it to anyone who'll hear me, enjoy! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Just to let you know, Jan doesnt upload stuff to that site anymore.

She posted to me a while ago now that when the domain contract runs out, she will be letting the site go and it will close down.

Shame isnt it because for me, it will be the end of an era. Jan and I go way back.

Most if not all of the downloads do work though if not, I have pretty much all of them on my pc here.

By the way, I wonder if I've found that album ' La mour fou'. I've found an album that is definately French and has those words in the title? I've bought it now, so its too late if it isnt the right one. Ha Ha!!

Love Jennifer XX

Hi Ozlem and Sylvie,

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW !!!  OMG that was FANTASTIC - goose bump times, or what!!!    I'm playing it again as I am typing this - oh that is just absolutely tremendous .......you can actually feel the total admiration and respect between the two of them and the notes Kenny G was hitting - I was sure glasses would break - and have a guess what Sylvie, I'm away to that other thread to read your notes on how to transfer....."IF" I get confused I'll come back onto you - so I'll speak to you later then !!!! lol.

Thanks a million Ozlem for putting that in - just WONDERFUL to hear something like that - what a VOICE !!!   :D

Sylvia.   Your wee Scottish friend.

if my father was still alive I would have danced with him now and even my mother (who is still alive) would have approved of the one thing father-mother-child had in common.-the love for the song "Georgia on my mind",which my parents liked to hear me sing and although I cannot recall having discussed Michael Bolton with them his interpretation is one of the few  almost impossible things which might even reunite my mother with me- and my son is an avid Kenny G.fan.Great recording, this one.Thank you
Hi Angelica, I'm glad to hear this rendition moved you so deeply... Hope you were able to download it. Take care sweetie and God bless you. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi,SilvieB.(how lucky are you to have that B. in you, some are called Suzie Q. or like me A.S.( not great):,I replied a bit earlier to Astrid and now I listened to the BBC interview from 2004/quite amazing ,as some of what Michael  said almost corresponds to what I wrote  prior to listening to this.-the Golf bit is not that interesting to me ,but maybe someone could shout out to Michael that- as he felt it was so good to talk to that film-director about golf- it could be great to talk with me about music-particularily his one: past-present-future.-Maybe Gail?-must be back from vacation by now?or gone on another?I also enjoyed to hear that apparently by now he did respond to Jennifer. So there is hope. Angelica
