I can hardly stop from crying and shivering from goosebumps. I always loved Elvis' versions even more than the Righteous Brothers' - even though theirs is amazing too. Hearing Michael this song live would make a dream come true!!

This is a video I put together, an early 90's version 'Georgia On My Mind' and photos from the 90's concert/tour book. You can really hear the difference in MB's voice, sounds so raw!

Hi Sylvie, It is yummy isn't it!! it is from an album I found on ebay called 'Michael Bolton LIVE USA' it is not an official album, it has no date printed on sleeve or on the CD to say when it was recorded also the sound quality is not the greatest but the songs are great with MB's voice very different to how it sounds now. My guess it is from he early 1990's. Glad you enjoyed it.

Yeah Juliet,  I've sadly never witnessed it in person for various reasons, but I remember... I loved the little bit about it in the "This is Michael Bolton" video... It's too bad they never showed the entire song though, but this is one yummy version of it! I'll bet you have witnessed it though Juliet, haven't you? Its an amazing album isnt it OZ. I've played it over and over and cant get enough of it!! I really reallylove it!!!!

 

I remember when Michael did the walk through singing Georgia. That was the first time I'd seen him i nconcert at Wembley and he came out of the doors right where I was standing. The audience was quiete and Michael walked right pst me as I screamed "Aaaaaaaaargh!!!"

 

He turned to look at me and waved and said 'Hi'. Well, let me tell you I cried all the way home and for days after!!!

 

I would love it if he would do Georgia again on the walk through.
