Patience Jimmy your wife will see the light! He's a ledge :) MiBo released an entire album that angered me but millions love so no ones gonna diss you or your views.

I agree Jude in that the video is quite funny and that is what grabbed me and then shocked me when I heard the words!!! lol

I haven't a clue as to how Michael decided to agree to the video but I appreciate that he said he refused to do many versions of the song :) Could you imagine?? Michael has said he thinks these 3 fellas are genius comedians so I suppose he thought he would give it a go. For many reasons...the video is a hit.....so in todays world Michael is a hit as Jack Sparrow and  et al. I will always love the part where Michael pops of and says...and now for the good part!!!! Now that is funny!!!!!!! I LOVE the video... but don't need the "shock" verses to enjoy it :) I guess this is SNL's shock and awe comedy!!! lol.... jmo... :)

Hi all, sorry I’m a little late  catching up. I just wanted to say to Jude that I agree about the nature of the lyrics in “Jack Sparrow”. The ones spoken by TLI are some I’d definitely rather forget. The ones Michael sings are relating to the contents of the movies he’s talking about. Sweetie, I don’t know if you’ve ever heard the song “Fool for love” that Michael sang with Johnny Hallyday? This was a song released as a single in France and on the French version of “Greatest hits”. I don’t know what the circumstances were about recording it, but the contents of the song relate to a guy who killed his girlfriend because she was with another and he couldn’t accept it. I was very surprised that Michael participated in this song, but he did. He had his reasons, just as I’m sure he had his reasons to take part in this one. I think there’s an article earlier in this thread stating that Michael did have problems with the language and had TLI rewrite them a few times. As I’ve said before, it’s not like Michael intends on making a full album of this genre. As I’ve told one of my friends, the shock/funny value works because Michael has a clean image. If he were to become Mr Pottymouth publicly on a regular basis, it wouldn’t have the same effect. I do know that you’re a long-time fan and have been following him closely so I wouldn’t doubt your feelings for Michael as a person. Noone will make you buy this if you don’t want to, regular or clean version. We are all entitled to our opinion. As for what Jennifer addressed about Michael catering to a younger audience which he’s noticed is more present now at his concerts, I think this will please some of them and maybe peel the “old crooner” label some media has put on him. As far as why he collaborated with them, as Kathy said, Michael thinks they’re brilliant and he came out of the experience stretching himself as an artist and he considers it a highlight of his career. Thank you very much for sharing your opinion hereJude, as you’re not the only one who feels that way. Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Aren't we all forever catching up Solver??? lol  Great words Sylvie!  And Jude is not alone for sure :)

I'm sure he did have an AM too then. I believe from memory that it was a blue one with blue tinted windows. (mind you, I've mainly seen it from inside and i nthe dark whens he's drive nround to pick me up!!) I' msure we also saw it in the video clips of him walking in the street getting into his car??

I bet he has a garage full of cars and owns a Smart car, VW camper van and a Lada too. I reckon he's got a whole fleet of transit vans aswell. He has to have something to cart his guitars around in doesn he? Ha Ha Ha!!

Mind you, I'm loving the Bentley. Thats the next car on my list too when I've sold my Bugatti Veyron!! Vroom Vroom!!

Love Jennifer XX

I'll wear one of my hats when I pick you up then. Actually, I might wear all 3 together at once????

Hmmmm, decisions, decisions??

Love Jennifer XX

Hi Juliet,
I am sure he has an Aston and many others. The Bentley is all I've seen any pictures of here in the states for the last year. So since he seems to be using the Bentley recently I thought it looks just like the one in the Jack Sparrow video.

Michael Bolton Looks Good in a Bentley Continental GT

September 19th, 2010

Singing sensation of the past Michael Bolton was seen hauling some stuff out of his very gangster-looking Bentley Continental GT. Compared to other old-timers in the music industry, Michael Bolton sure aged well, so well that he managed to acquire a Bentley Continental of his own!
