Hi everyone,

I’ve been meaning to start this thread for a while now. I’ve been reading since the beginning of this forum, many discussions started by fans who simply wanted to share their joy of being a Michael Bolton fan. We have threads to share concert reviews, some to share news, videos etc, but not exactly what I have in mind. I would like for this thread not to be about meeting Michael, but about MB related moments in our daily lives, that anyone can take part in. I’m sure we all have tons of fun stories about how the existence of our Michael made us smile today.

For example: I remember once working on the computer and being stressed out to finish a job, then I took a break and turned on the radio, SILYBIL was on and I felt like I’d been given a big hug! Also, I remember once reading on one of the old message boards, someone had gone to a thrift shop and found an MB T-shirt and it made her day! Another story of mine has to do with my husband driving with “The one thing” on, stopping at a light and the guy in the next car asked him who that was and said this was great music! Your anecdotes can also be about how you've converted a "non believer" or your child’s discovery of Michael and sometimes we have as many stories as we have kids! Anyway, I guess I’d like this thread to be kind of a Michael Bolton  “Vegetable soup for the soul”. :D I have a few stories in my own life like these and even started my own personal document  a while back and I thought: why not share our stories together? So there you go MB fans: share away! Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Mary. Rainy day? What's that? heheheheh Can't wait to hear the story about a Barbie camera? Cool. The first softball game I went to was 9/24/94. My girlfriend from Wilmington DE had me up for the weekend&a friend of hers took us to the game. Someone helped us to our seats&a girl was asking about raffle tickets for the charity which was being benefitted there for Cooper Hospital in South Jersey, I do believe it was all for. I didn't have change. We even saw a security guard&asked him if we could meet Michael& he said, "I don't know nothin' about that." Cool, was how I responded. Of course, we were cheering the Bolton Bommers on. Then, during the 4th inning, this lady Nancy came up to us&said she'd take us to the field during the 7th inning. I had asked her if she had change for the tickets&she didn't. We never got to buy anyway. So, during the 7th inning, we were taken to the field. Two women helped us. I said, "Dorothy, i hear this child wheezing so badly." I thought perhaps cystic fibrosis. Gosh. Then, Michael hit a foul. I though, "that's @ least 5 fouls." Next thing I knew, this lady gave me the ball. Wow! I was totally psyched. I met a girl from Philly. I asked Nancy where she worked @ the stadium&she said she woked @ the hospital. The girl from Philly said, if your jacket was white, I have a magic market to have it autographed. Well, they said no autographs. nancy then said, "Michael, could you shake her hand?" Referring to me. He shook my hand, I said, "Hi. My name is Robin. In a higher voice than usual. This lady said, "We gotta take him back. I said, I jsut wanna ask one question so I asked Michael what got him involved with the MBC?. He responded&I made sure it was not just a yes or no answer. he wished us well. Of corse, i introduced him to my friend Doroth. Afterwards, I broke down, almost hyperventilated. It was 40 seconds as I timed it later as I taped it. My camera, right? I darn near had an asthma attack. Nancy took us to the main entrance of the stadium. Wow! I was glad Doroth was with me. pardon any errors. Thought I'd share. I know. Some folks have seen this story. Sorry for repetition. :)))))

Hey Robin, I love that story girlfriend, thanks for sharing it with everyone, take care. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

I hate my typographical errors there. I get nervous proofreading. Afraid of losing messages.

No Sylvie, That would have been the 2nd concert of MB's that we went to...it was when I was in the Gold Club:)! Gotta hold on to that one for a bit! LOL:)!
