Hi Everyone

Thank you all so much for your kind words and stories and yes I agree we should make a book up of all our feelings and what Michael has done for us over the years I know I would not be here today if not for his beautiful music, even in the last week I have been recovering from an operation and his music has kept my spirits up. This forum has gave me something and people to share my feelings and I thank you all xxxxxxx Sarah
Welcome Sarah to the forum, first off sorry about the loss of your mum.I know you really miss her still to this day .I am glad she introduced Michaels music to ya...
I just recently lost my mom a few months ago and it is still very hard for me.I have been a fan of Michael since 1989/90 and my mom just thought I was crazy for loving his music so much. Then the last few years of my mom's life, she decided she loved Michael and his music, well after he cut his hair, she was an old timer and did not like long hair LOL!! Anyway, for the last few years, I was able to take her to 3 concerts and she loved every minute of them. Before she went to the second one, she needed cataract surgery and said she HAD to have it done before she saw him again so she could see him better, she did and really fell in love with him!! She was in a wheelchair and was lucky enough to be where he came out in the middle of the concert and he shook her hand before he left the middle...I thought she was gonna get up and walk after him!!! After that nite she listened to his music alot, especially every time I had her in the car taking her somewhere, I always played one of his CD's!! Micheal's music has gotten me through alot, not only with my mom but my husband was in the navy for 24 years and when he was deployed, I used his songs to help me through. My husband is a big fan of his and goes to a lot of concerts with me. Anyway his music means so much to me and has so many good memories when I listen to it. She was suppose to go with me to my last concert I went to in CT this past March but she had just passed away a couple of months before. At that concert I was fortunate enough to meet with him and when I met him I was wearing her necklace and so I know she was still with me there!! Take care and I hope you will continue to post on this forum.

Aww Kerie I'm so sorry. You have my sympathy for your loss. Your mom sounds like a neat lady who really came to enjoy Michael.. How cool is that.. thanks for sharing your story.
Robin :)
Awww Kerie, I'm really sorry for your loss too, but your story is really touching too, thanks for sharing! It doesn't matter how long it's been since anyone's lost their mom, it still hurts... It'll be 27 years for me in August: my mom passed on 9 days before my 20th birthday... The moral to this thread: everyone keep sharing Michael's music and enjoy your mom's company, if you still have her! :) Thanks again Kerie and God bless. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Hello Sarah,
Welcome to the forum.

Your Mum was one very lucky lady to have a daughter as beautiful as you to continue loving Michael this way in her memory.

I am truly, very sorry to hear of your Mumx passings. whether it be 1 year or 11 years, the pain is just as raw, but the fact that your Mum lives on in Michaels music must be a real comfort to you.

As for how Michael makes me feel, well, in one word ...Alive!!

Without going into too much detail, I have been a fan of Michaels for over 20 years now, but over the past few years I have been very poorly and the doctors dont expect too much from me but in all honesty it is Michael and his music that has kept me alive.

I promise that I am not being over dramatic when I say this, but each year when he boks a concert near me, it is another reason for me to want to stay alive!!!

Again welcome to the forum. The Guys and Gals on here are a great bunch and very friendly and welcoming.

Love Jennifer XXXX

Hi again Sarah, I'm really glad if we're all helping you in some small way... There's nothing like the feeling of validation for your feelings, is there? :) I remember when I joined the MBPlatinum club in 2000, when I started reading the message board back then, I thought I'd finally found my home planet! :) Have a prompt recovery sweetie, keep listening to Michael and keep posting, it's good to have you here! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
I am very sorry for the loss of your Mom, Sarah. My deepest sympathy. She will be watching over you from Heaven.
hi sarah sorry to hear about your mom a loss is the hardest thing in the world i lost my mom 3 years ago and its still hurts very much now just keep thinking good memorys and she will always be with you she would be a very proud mom that you share michael as she did .and what michael does for me, michael is my life always

J'approuve entièrement. Sa coopération avec Walter A., D. Warren and David Foster était inhabituelle.
Je rêve d'entendre chanter lui "Je ne regret rien" - une autre catégorie, qui correspondrait bien à lui - et "I only want to say" (Jesus Christ Superstar/ Andrew Lloyd Webber). Je sais, qu'il l'a déjà chanté.

Beaucoup de salutations d'Allemangne

Astrid
