Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread. The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc. This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Happy Concert Time in 2014 to all of you!!!

Hi Alice and welcome to the forum. I'm just catching up. I think you're gonna like it here! :D Take care sweetie and if you need help getting around here, let us know. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
Such a pity Tiffany. But the same problem I had with my first concert.
Luckily, there are many here who have more luck when taking pictures.
The next concert will come. And before that, we need to practice all that much!

That is a pity Tiffany but always next time and too gives you time to play around with your camera and see how all the settings work but thanks for trying !!! :)

Hi Tiffany, what a pity but your best memory you could be there live...next time no picture with your camera phone, a little pocket camera enoughs and a good light :).....Next time you make it fore sure...
Christine
Don't feel bad Tiffany. My husband took a bunch of pictures with his phone and none of them came out clear. They're all washed out.

Hey ladies, I find that camera phones don't do a good job unless you are right down front. I see people with them and it looks like they are getting good shots but mine won't take good ones. I use my trusty camera instead. They allow camera's most times as long as it's not a professional one with a big zoom lense.. I didn't even take my phone out during MB's show in Bethlehem to even try. My good ol EZShare still does the job, and I have another digital camera as back-up just in case usually in the purse!!LOL

Hi Robin in MD, I just had a strange thought go through my mind: do you have pictures from each and every concert you ever went to? Just wondering. That would make one heck of a thread in the photo section... :D Take care girl. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
Hey Sylvie, I probably do but I started seeing MB in 1994 and we had only film camera photos and a lot of those are packed away and also I no longer have a scanner here to put them online. My friend I first started traveling with used do to all the pic taking the first few years going to see MB (believe it or not I didn't do that back then)..LOL Then later if I didn't get the good ones after I then got a camera after a few years we swapped out prints again between us from film cameras We used to go down to Towson, MD to a Create A Print Machine to get enlargements of the good ones, OMG the times we had doing that!LOL. I had friends at my Walmart, they only charged me for the good ones of the rolls of film I took to gete developed. I ditched the ones that were not clear and never got charged.. I had buddies there at the time!LOL I have albums and albums packed away from the early days from softball games, the early gala's and concerts, earlier golf tournaments too. Then since around what..hmmmmm I have to think, maybe around 1999 or so I really got into taking my own, got a nicer film camera and then after that in 2005 went digital and that camera is the one I use mostly still. MB has seen pics on that camera with us together checking them to be sure eyes are open etc...Milo has told me I have a nice camera too not that long ago!! :) Lots of albums and lots of pics. MB chose one of mine back in the day around 1998 for the fan club calendar they were going to do but then never got made. MB autographed a copy of it actually, I have it here. Also in 2006 when they did the TV Special with him and the ice skating they interviewed him at home and showed some photos in his home office area and that photo was there of him and Wynonna and Chris Camozzi from the show I took. He kept the original. I had gotten back a color copied photo signed. LOL Wow has technology changed. Thanks for asking the question. You got me to thinking back a bit here !!!
I'm sure other folks have similar stories with the changes of the times and technology.
My friend and I were talking about this on our trip to Bethlehem how years ago we had all those rolls of film and you never knew if you got anything till you got them developed.. Oh thank God for digital cameras!! LOL
Robin in MD:)
Hi again Robin, wow, I didn't expect such a detailed reply! lol Wouldn't it be interesting to do that though: fans special concert pics over the years with attached anecdotes? Just a thought. In any case, thanks a lot for sharing, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
