WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE 2016 MB TOUR REVIEW THREAD !!
Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread! The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!! This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

I understand the purpose of the color purple for Prince but also, awesome about the queen's 90th. She's been queen 64 years. Wow! But, Sylvia, y'all seem to have had awesome seats. I'm glad. Can't wait to read both reviews & everyone else's up & coming.

Here is a picture courtesy of Amanda from Michael's concert last night in Glasgow. Also have picture of his car which he is using for this tour and what a wonderful number plate ..... I want it once he has finished using !!!! LOL It is a Mercedes and it carries a German number plate of BoMB 6688

Hi, just new to this, never posted before, seen Michael for the first time last night in Glasgow; absolutely amazing, I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the song played by Jason on the saxophone, it was a catchy tune and I can't find it anywhere.

WELCOME to the forum Callum and great to have you on here !!! :) Glad you enjoyed Glasgow for it was some show and can tell you Michael enjoyed it too for he feeds off audience and he was thrilled with the reaction he got.
Jason's solo is Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful" and just to add that was played by Jason, from the heart, as a tribute to Prince and that was why he had on his purple shirt....the boy is still feeling it !!! :(

Hi Callum and welcome to the forum. Would you like to share your impressions about your firstconcert? May I ask how long you’ve been a fan and what made you decide to attend a concert now? I know sometimes, it’s the circumstances: it took me 8 years of being a fan before my 1st concert for various reasons. Jason plays “You are so beautiful to me”, which Michael sings on his2011 CD “Gems”, without a saxophone, but with a beautiful trumpet solo by Chris Botti. Thank you so much for replying much appreciated!! And Iv been a fan for about 6 years, I was probably one of the youngest at the concert - being only 19 - I first heard Michael believe it or not on the starburst advert years ago, hearing his voice I fell in love with it! When I found out he was coming to Glasgow I couldn't believe it, the excitement was unreal, being able to be in the same room as the celebrity you have watched and listened to for so long was just amazing!

Hi again Callum, Michael has noticed that more and more kids from this generation have been coming to his shows, because they grew up on his music. That’s pretty amazing that you first heard him on the Starburst commercials! I have to say reading your post made me smile, because that’s exactly how I felt at my first concert, before you were born! lol Well anyway, thanks a lot for sharing Callum and hope you stick around and look around the forum. I went to see Michael at Newcastle on Wednesday night. The show was amazing as usual. Also had a meet and greet after the show. I was really nervous as I have a stammer. The guy arranging the VIP upstairs and downstairs was very kind and helpful to me with my stammer. Does anyone know his name, does he work for SJM or for Michael. Just wanted to say Thank You to him again as it meant alot what he did.
I then met Michael, I had taken a back up note just in case I couldn't get my words out but Michael put me at ease and I was able to say what I wanted to say. He was so humbling and nice. I will remember that night for the rest of my life. Still on a high. A dream come true. I can't stop looking at the pictures. One happy lady :0).

Congratulations Donna!! I am so glad it all went well..Michael is so sweet and kind. I am happy you were able to tell him what you wanted to say. Enjoy your photos with him. I do mot know who was the host for these meet and greets...Maybe someone else that has gone will come in and say who that may be.
