Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!!  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

Hi Nahla and welcome to the forum. May I ask how long you've been a Michael fan? I'm pretty sure you're the first Egyptian fan to post on here. We'll look forward to reading how much you'll enjoy the show, assuming this will be your first time seeing Michael in concert, so I hope you come back to this discussion thread to share with all of us. Take good care Nahla. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Great photos, Robin .My faves are the ones with MB and the guitar. Sam's a beauty , haven't heard her singing yet ...I'm sure you had another lovely evening .

Beautiful photo which Sam has shared of the band from last night.  To let Sylvie and Robin R know it is not one of them on stage, they have posed as a group, specifically to have photo taken and for me, that's what makes it rather lovely and special because you don't often get pics like it and fact they are all looking so happy helps too to make a beautiful pic !!! :)

Should add, I have asked Sam's permission, to post on here.

Hi everyone. It was a beautiful night last night for the Mt. Pocono, PA show.  Mother Nature sure gave us a pretty backdrop at sunset before it got dark. I caught a few nice pics of MB during the beginning of the show.  I am going to put a few here.  I don't know when I will make some albums for Charlotte and Mt. Pocono.  We have a family crisis right now and my mother in law in Hospice Care and lots to handle.  Not to bring this thread down or be negative but that's why I am not writing long reviews.  Thought more fun and easier right now for me to post some of the fun pics here.

MB was great and sounded wonderful but I saw him motioning alot to his people about the sound or mix. Something wasn't right for him last night. Outdoor sound is probably harder to do than inside venues. My hubby and I did get to watch sound check and all that and it was fun seeing the band doing their thing. Jeff and I took a few selfies where we were standing to remember it by! Jeff met Sam and Ashley and Ashley made his day by hugging him. We talked to Brian and he's so sweet.

The only thing was yes those darned gates in front of the stage at this one like Kathy Rosario mentioned recently. We got to stand at them but I thought maybe not, at first the guards tried to make us go back but then gave up or got the signal it was OK. MB motioned for us to be up on our feet. We had fun rocking out.  He was feeding off the energy. Some of the girls in Sally Turner's group had cute t-shirts made up and he saw them. I will let her share what they said if she wants to on here.  He put the mic down to me once to sing again. I hope again I didn't hurt his ears, hopefully not since we were a bit further back than in Charlotte from the stage.

Here are a few of the pretty pics I got with Mother Nature giving us a lovely background.  I hope you like them.

I didn't get as many pics, the lighting was not as good being a little further back and different than an indoor venue. I took these with no flash as the guards were telling everyone no flash.

There was a lady from Kenya that shouted out she came that far and MB said she must be exhausted. Well when he went to the audience for WAMLAW he was beside her seat and he asked her to sing a little and then he took her hand and she was taken backstage. I think she got a photo with him. I never saw him do that before. It was crowded and guards in front of me so if I'm wrong on that please correct me Sally or anyone else that was there and saw it. I thought it was pretty cool for MB to do that.

That's my mini-review.  I will put up albums in the gallery on both shows I attended when I can.  It was fun going to this show with Jeff and he liked all of it.  He's amazed how many people it takes to do this night after night for MB or any artist. We needed time away together for a night of fun and MB sure footed that bill!!!

THANK You MB and band for two fantastic shows this past week..

Hey Robin, I was smiling and at the concert with you reading your review :)))). Thanks for sharing your fun and especially loved the story of MB taking the lady from Kenya's hand and backstage, oh how sweet that was of him....I am sure that made her trip a very sweet forever MB concert memory for certain :)
Girl I know you have had alot on your plate and it is okay with me that you mentioned it and prayers for your family too, Robin. I am glad you and Jeff got to go last night and sweet too the hug from Ashley to him (my thoughts are with you too Jeff and Robin and family). Great review, short or not, and photos too Robin !! :). Lovely evening out and I am glad you got to sing to MB at both concerts, Robin, sweet !! ;) Hugs,

Kathy T. :)
I don't have much to ad. Robin pretty well got it. Michael threw a guitar pick my way and we could find where it went! I was hoping it went in my bag! Lol. But my friend Dawn found it under my chair! One of the ladies, Lee White who pops on here occasionally, said she always wanted to wear a t-shirt that said NOT STRAGETICALLY PLACED. Since Michael usually remarks about have people stragetically placed to the cat calls. So I found someone to make them for us. When we were at the gate after WAMLAW, Michael was reading my shirt and threw his hands out in the air. We did it for fun and Michael acknowledging it made it worthwhile.

First of all thanks a million Robin for review and for those fabulous pictures, they sure are that, beautiful !!! :)  Sure do hope what you thought you saw Robin with the girl from Kenya did happen.....wonderful and what a beautiful, thoughtful thing for MB to do but then again, not surprising coming from him, not in the least !!! :)

So sorry to hear of family problems and thinking of both you and Jeff and do hope your MB concerts helped, in a small way, to take your mind off and help both, mind and body, relax a little and gave you a breather to be able to cope with what's ahead;  life's path can sure turn rocky at times and throw everything at you but the kitchen sink.....thinking of you !!!

Thanks so much Sally for sharing pic and your review of show !!! :)  Absolutely adore the t-shirts, they are fantastic and I bet, without doubt, Michael had one hell of a chuckle at those, he would just of loved them.....thanks so much for sharing for sure made me smile !!! :)

Thanks Robin in MD and Sally for your review and amazing pictures. The woman from Kenya is so lucky, and MB is amazing doing that for a fun that travelled a long way to see him. Well these are the things that he does that makes his funs so loyal to him. Robin, my prayers are with you and your family as you go through this difficult time. May God give you all the strength to be strong for each other. Thanks again for sharing. Much love.

Patience
