Michael was tweeting last night, just before show and immediately after (what a guy !!) and he sent pic of himself and JP at the Saxton Family Gymnasium in Lancaster, PA and it shows him and JP along with I presume a basketball player (I can't follow ALL sports !!! LOL) sorry don't know name but they are standing together under a basket and Michael is in centre holding a ball and JP and other guy have their hands outstretched and placed on it.  BTW way they are dressed looks as though might have had a bit of a game or certainly thrown a few balls at basket.  Here is tweet Michael sent with pic

HI Everyone!!! MINI-Review here!!LOL Lancaster, PA

We had a fantastic time last night in Lancaster, PA!!!!!!!!! This photo above Jason showed me out back after the show and I told him I saw it too MB had tweeted it!! Jason said that was cool! I don't know who the player is either!!LOL   MB was tweeting during the show as he favorited a tweet of mine to him of pics from the show in Wilkes-Barre, I think when he was off changing to do the duets. Timing was about right!!LOL  Multi-tasking MB!!!!! I need to get my review thoughts together and want to share what a wonderful way to end my run of 5 shows this year (Unless we get more later I can go to).  From the great sounds at AMC and MB and band giving us a great show, to the awesome seats my friend got us in front row center, to MB talking to me at the stage and chatting with the audience in general, to my friend and I getting to stand by the steps and him seeing us and taking our hands quickly when he was getting back during WAMLAW, to him taking time after the show to sign autographs in the car!!!!! That was icing on the cake!  WOW!!!! THANK YOU Michael and band and staff. You all are the BEST!!!!  We thought they were getting him down to DC for the event tonight and still took the time for the group of fans that waited.  Woooo Hoooo!!!!!!  Everyone had a quick moment to have a little private chat at the car with MB as he signed one item for each of us.  I have a unique autograph on my ticket stub!! Very simple but means alot!! I will post a pic later too with my review..

More later when I can get a review together.  Going on a few hours sleep here.  I smiled the entire 1.5 hour drive home last night!! .

The one thing that was a little bit of a bummer was they recessed his set up deeper into the stage so he was a bit further away from the front of the stage.  Sometimes they do that for some reason I guess with how the venue is.  

 I have pictures and will put some up when I can get them sorted and posted..Unfortunately I have to go back to work tomorrow but hope to get some up today.  

MB is the BEST!!!!

Sounds like a fab night Robin and i had the same smile driving back lol.x, it always brings back super memories when i read the reviews.  I dont think of MB's concerts as gigs, i tell people they are my own private disco where you have picked the best music and songs and all you do all night is sign and dance.

Thanks Kathy T.  We all had big smiles on our faces. We all were thanking MB and staff for taking the time to do the autographs.

It was truly much appreciated by all of us on the parking lot! :) MB rocks!!

Thanks for mini-review Robin and glad to hear you had such a super time and wondered about MB's timing with tweets and have seen that before with him where it looks as though either just right before he goes on stage or, as you say, at change of outfits for you can work it out, like when he was tweeting after show and you've confirmed what I thought, he was travelling to DC....you can get what he's doing by timing his tweets, who needs a tracker on his car !!!!! LOL

Have found out guy in picture is in fact a hip hop artist from Lancaster called, Zane.  He has tweeted a photo of himself and JP at the gymnasium and said about having a great time with Jason and Michael before show.  Here is pic:

This was taken outside the venue last night. They were hanging out after near my car. LOL  Jason saw me and say "Hey Homie!"  when I was getting some water LOL I talked to Jason out there and this gentleman was there too. The band were hanging out some after till they all went their separate ways.

Lancaster,  PA concert 6/15/15  Well worth the wait!!!!!!

 

I hope you all have a cup of coffee or tea as this one is a tad long. 

 

Wow what an amazing concert we had at Lancaster, PA last night. The American Music Theater is known for his fabulous sound and it sure didn’t disappoint last night. MB and the band were awesome!!!!!

This crowd was a bit more subdued than the casino crowd on Saturday but they were very vocal and very loud with applause for MB.  They,  however,  were not the kind to go to the stage but more on that later!!LOL

The one thing that kinda was a bummer like I said above in the previous post was that they did recess his setup a bit back from the front so he was a bit further away from the audience. I was hoping I could still get OK pictures. I did. I am using from now on my hubby’s camera that’s like mine but a little newer and zooms a bit further.  I also found some great batteries that lasted the entire show and are still working! YES! No swapping in the midst of a show!!LOL

MB came out and said- Thank you for coming AGAIN -as this was the rescheduled show. He also said there were rules, make all the noise you want and take all the pictures you want. We all cheered!!! No one cared if we used flash after he said that.  Yippee!!!

I gotta laugh, MB tried to toss us the guitar pic both times he played guitar. Both times we never found it, the locals in the audience had no idea, no one looked but us. After the first guitar set it hit the floor over from us on the left, we tried to find it with our little flashlights but never did see that pic. I think the second one after SHC when down in the stage somewhere in a crack or something, it fell short! It was further for him to try to toss it!!!LOL At one point between songs he was talking to the audience and asked how many people had planned to be here the first time and most of us cheered and we held up our hands and he made a joke of saying how it was best we waited!!LOL  Also people were yelling out stuff so I took the chance and said This is show 143 or something like that, I forgot what my exact words were. He looked down and said 143 shows? Is that you Robin? I said yes, in 21 years! He repeated 143 shows in 21 years. Wow! You know all the songs. LOL Everyone laughed! I said yes as much as you do!! And then he said you’ve been to more shows than I have. Which I’ve heard him say before. LOL Everyone was cracking up!!! It was much funnier in the moment than me writing about it.  I was happy to have had the chance to say it!! My friend got us awesome seats front row center so it was a perfect spot to say that to him.  Later when someone up further back was trying to say to him that Repeat After Me was great or something like that he looked down and I repeated it (LOL no pun intended) and he then said yes that was fun, more to come! He gave away a little hint there..HMMM Maybe more projects similar??? LOL I don’t know. He was smiling and joking around with the audience all night and seemed very relaxed and in a great mood.  MB really killed it on Sweet Home Chicago. I love that man and his guitar!! WHEW!!  There were lots of cheers for him.  The duets with Amanda were spot on.  Everyone loved each song and we gave them a Standing Ovation for The Prayer!! Wow! They blew the roof off the AMC venue.  The band did a great job too and Amanda nailed her Medley of MB’s songs with Jason doing a great job on Missing You Now.

When we first got there we saw that the steps for MB were to the left of us in center in front of left aisle. So we figured he’d come out a side door on the left and go up that aisle. Well he did stop to sing WAMLAW over to the left after coming out the side door and then he walked to the outside of the left section and across the front of that left section of seats to the steps.  He was hand touching as he went. My friend and I walked over to the steps and stood to the side on our side and he took my buddy Kathy’s hand and smiled at her and then mine and smiled at me as he got to the stage!  That worked. Woo Hoo!!!!!

We sat back down as no one went to the stage at that point and then we saw other girls coming down that left aisle so we went back over and maybe 6 or 8 of us were there. No one else went up. When MB started How Can We Be Lovers we were there a little while but unfortunately the ushers asked us to sit down so we did... I had a card for MB and tried to give it to him but he couldn’t really see me well with the stage set up so I thought try later. LOL   We rocked out in our seats to the rest of HCWBL and TLT.  MB put the mic down for the audience to sing and tried to interact and he was grooving but it’s not the same being a bit away from the audience.  As Sally said to me later it’s a bit of a disconnect set up that way. She’s right!   After he was done TLT and we all were standing and clapping he said Thank You Lancaster, PA and then looked down and held up his fingers to sign to me 1-4-3 for the 143 shows and smiled.  That was so neat!!! My friend Kathy picked up on that quicker than I did!!  The crowd stood and clapped and he came back out for Lean On Me as the encore.  And after that before we knew it the show was really over!!!

I didn’t get a line up photo this time but got two close ups of MB. One I really like as he’s smiling in it. I haven’t caught a good smile photo in a while. So that one is my favorite for this amazing concert I think. LOL

 I did ask for MB’s set list and it’s been the same one as I’ve gotten from other shows. Also Ashley came to the front of the stage and shook hands and said Hi. She’s a very sweet lady. That was very kind of her. 

We went out back like quite a few other folks and I talked to her again and some of MB’s staff and the band as they came and went. I was able to get the card to one of his staff I know he received it later as he mentioned it to me!   Some of the band were hanging out like Jason and Ashley and Nelson and Drew for a while also before they went their separate ways. Amanda went past us but I think she left fairly quickly.  At one point I went to my car for water as it was very humid out and actually rained a bit on us but not too bad, I had an umbrella!  Jason was over by my car with some folks and said Hi Homie when he saw me.LOL He's a hoot!! I was getting water and he showed me the basketball photo and said that was cool.  He wondered if  he had been tagged in it already!LOL He was excited about that!!!    We maybe waited over an hour and Milo came out and said that they had to get MB out of there but if we lined up MB would sign 1 autograph for each of us and it had to be quick, no pics with MB and if it didn’t work, he was pulling it. We moved back and they moved us a second time to move the car around.  MB then walked out and got in his vehicle and they back it around to have his side of the vehicle face where we were and the crowd lined up and we had a great time each getting something signed.  He and I had a quick chat and it was great getting to end  my 5 shows this year this way!! He mentioned my card  too! Sweet MB!!! My friend and MB had a fun chat too.  I am thrilled for her as AMC in Lancaster is her home venue!!!  So after we went through the line I went back around and over shoulders zoomed in and took photos of MB. Milo said we could take pics of him as he signed. I did ask before taking any.   We were all doing that around each other and it was fun.. Then all good things come to an end and MB had to go. He said goodbye to us and he was on his way to DC.

It was great seeing you again Sally and also your niece.  I also met a fan from FB out back too that Ashley from the band told her to come see me about getting photos!LOL  I will post some here and on FB soon of this concert.

 I am sure I’ve forgotten something so please Sally or anyone else, feel free to jump in and add to this.  Its all stilling going around and around in my head!!LOL I like reading other people's reviews too!!!

Thanks so much to MB and band and staff-you all are the best!! These fun memories will keep me going till the next adventure!!!

WOW Robin.....Great review and concert experience girl and a Super fantastic photo you posted of MB too !! :))). I love that MB held up his fingers for 143 concerts and put it on your ticket too.....cool :). Happy for you being able to talk to him on his way out to D. C.....a very special grand finale to the concert for you and Kathy both !!!! :))). I felt like I was there with you last night reading along and it just so happens I had my tea ready when I began reading......LOL. Take a rest girl.....you just had 2 grand concerts, enjoy your cloud !!! ;). Thanks for sharing your very special evening with MB and crew :). Hugs,

Excellent review, Robin!   You have a way of remembering every detail just as it happened.  It was a wonderful night at the concert and beyond.  At MB's car afterward, I told him this was my home venue.  He made sure he pronounced Lancaster properly because most that are non-natives don't.  Apparently he's been told he didn't pronounce it properly.  This was one of the nicest Bolton experiences I've had in the past 20 years, but rather bitter sweet since no concerts are on the horizon at this time.
