WELCOME TO THE 2015 TOUR REVIEW THREAD!!

Welcome everyone to the 2015 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Those of you attending some of the Florida concerts in January,  2015 may see the upcoming Dreamjobbing winner performing as a backup singer for Michael!!  Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2015 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!! 

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past. 

Happy Concert Time in 2015!! Let the year long concert party begin!!

Hi Robin and thanks. LOL....yes I did sneak them in for you to wake up to this morning ;). You all were with me !! :). The only BB I text with much, and texting is so quick and easy, is Joy from Jersey. She popped in at concert time and she joined me too for over half the concert.....oh boy we had fun too !!!! :))))). More later today today...I HOPE !!. Hugs,

Hi again Linda, I’m with you about scarce concerts and resources, which is why I have to wait until Michael comes to my town.  Thanks a lot for the tip about the T-shirt: I collect them as much as I can too and I did get the TSOIA one.  Cool you did get “Steel bars” and lucky you hearing it on the radio, wow, maybe I should move! Thanks Linda.  I love MB playing guitar. One of my fav parts of the show when he's doing Sweet Home Chicago!!

Okay Ladies here we go....

I am not fond of driving through OK City but made it okay thank goodness and very worth it !! ;). I stayed next door and they had a shuttle and it was very nice there too. I arrived at the venue around 6:45, got my ticket and then off to look at MB goodies for sell and chose the tee-shirt.....love the photo of MB on front :). I enter the venue and I love this one...The Showplace Theatre. I look at messages after visiting a bit with folks next to me. I have a tweet from the casino to see them for an upgraded seat. The seat was front row left....MB walks past that seating going to aisle for WAMLAW......but I kindly thank them and keep my second row center so I can see MB and band much better. Show starts at 8:15....MB time.....LOL ;). OMG I love it when he opens with those first few stanzas of GO THE DISTANCE !! :). Setlist is as follows and hope I did not miss any :

Solos by Amanda......THAT'S WHAT LOVE IS ALL ABOUT, MISSING YOU NOW, BACK ON MY FEET AGAIN

Jason on sax.....YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL.....he and Amanda sounded great by the way...and Brian with a piano solo.
MB back with WAMLAW, HCWBL, STEEL BARS and Encore of Georgia.

Ladies MB was fabulous, voice was strong and perfect I must tell you. At the end of the concert a man in front me said "wow, he was fabulous and he still has got it !!." He was too BB's !!!! :))). He cracked jokes ofen and there was one of those very strageically placed women right behind me.....LOL. When MB introduced his wonderful band he then said "and I am just a guy from Connecticut" jokingly ;). He mentioned Pledge as Linda said. It was an incredibly wonderful concert and The Prayer with Amanda brought a standing ovation :))). J.P. was extrodinaire on sax.....just wonderful !! :). Amanda has a beautiful voice and is so lovely. MB blew the house away with every song and especially SHC, WAMLAW, STEEL BARS and HCWBL. Does Michael Bolton still rock ? Yes and as good as ever in my opinion !!!! ;).
I had a very fun perk after the concert.... I got to meet Ruki :). She is such a sweetheart and as fun and cute as can be !! :)

Thanks for your fun review Kathy T.. I am glad you had a great time!!!. Sounds like MB's voice is in great form as it was back in June. It always make me smile to hear others say how great MB is and YES he still has it!! Yes he can still rock!!!! I agree girl. Did you go to the stage?

Any of the jokes stand out to you?  Did the audience seem to know what Pledge Music was or not? Just curious..

Enjoy your Bolton Cloud girl. I am happy for you!!!!

Thanks Robin. MB's mention of Pledge was brief and I and a few others applauded. The stragetically placed woman behind me...LOL...was pretty annoying but MB played along with her and not telling much about that one except that she came in often ;). I tried getting to the stage but took the closeup photo instead because the stage was jammed packed....another day and time for that. Hugs,r/>

Hey Kathy, thanks for sharing your enthusiastic review! Heehee, you told me once that you didn’t do setlists, so thanks: funny you’d missed SHC but remembered at the end. It’s nice to know he often sings “Georgia” as an encore, but sad that Michael seems to be phasing out “Nessun dorma”. I love to hear when men enjoy the show: those remarks are priceless.  I’m sure you found a lot to talk about with Ruki, so great you got to talk to her. I’m especially glad that you got to have your concert in summer this time Kathy. Hopefully, you’ll be able to notice the difference between this concert and your next one later this year. Hi Sylvie...you are welcome. I was typing things in my phone for the review and when that one came I stopped and forgot to log it in is all but yep it was in there I promise you and I was lost in it totally !!! ;). My next concert is with my friend who made it our Christmas present together and I will be with her at her beautiful home in Van Buren for a few days after visiting. Looking very forward to that concert too :).
