Welcome everyone to the 2015 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Those of you attending some of the Florida concerts in January,  2015 may see the upcoming Dreamjobbing winner performing as a backup singer for Michael!!  Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2015 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time in 2015!! Let the year long concert party begin!!

Hi, Everyone!  It's been a while since I've posted a review on here.  As you may already know, I was in Norman, Oklahoma at the Riverwind Casino last night to see Michael!  I have seen him at this venue before, and other artists there too, but I was hesitant to go this time, because of the three to four hour drive it is for me, and I am already planning to see him in Durant, OK in November.  However, all the activity in recent weeks interacting with Michael on PledgeMusic.com spurred me into going to Norman!  I checked for tickets just a few weeks ago and scored a fourth row seat (which is actually kind of far back for me), but it was on the aisle, so I decided to go for it, as there wasn't anything else nearly as close available by then.  It turned out to be a bit of a blessing in disguise....my seat was directly under the big video screen...so close I had to lean my head back to look up at it...but I discovered that my phone liked taking pics of the images on the screen...many were deleted because I was always hurrying to catch a shot or angle, but I did manage some nice ones.  I will try to post a few for you.  I hope that isn't cheating too much!

Once I arrived at the venue, the next surprise came from the merchandise salesman.  He was scurrying the ladies thru the line, mostly selling them autographed CDs and books. I have all that already, but I didn't have the shirts he had on display.  I must interject here that I have a pretty extensive concert shirt collection, dating back well into the 90s.  I asked the price on the shirts...he said $20...they are from the spring concert and from the Australia concert.....so technically out of date, but part of the collection anyway.  I wasn't interested in the Australia one, but I bought the other one....as I was leaving the table, he offered me the Australia shirt for $10!  I took the deal!

The set list was a bit varied from previous shows I've seen, but not dramatically.   I did miss Soul Provider , Time, Love and Tenderness and Nessun Dorma, which were not included.   Amanda did some backup vocals and several duets and a medley of Michael's hits, and she was great!  For such a tiny little lady, she has a very powerful voice and I even recorded the duet of The Prayer and Ain't No Mountain!

Ladies were allowed up at the stage for the last songs and the encore...yay!  He did Georgia as the encore song....which always makes me a little sad, because it reminds me of my favorite BoltonBuddy from the fan club days, Georgia Humphreys, who sadly passed away a few years ago.  She was always so moved when Michael sang that song in concert, so it makes me feel like she's with me now! Thank you, Michael.

P.S. I often go by LindaK or Live4roses online...I am Linda Hammis on PledgeMusic (to avoid confusion)

Hi Linda K. and so glad you came on here too :). Please, please feel free to tell everything you want here too. I do have the set list but not ready with it yet....if you have it please go ahead. It was an incredible concert....one of the best I have gone too and the venue people were so very nice too at this one. Glad you had a great time and thanks for sharing and anything else you want to as well. I bought a tee shirt too....it is a very nice one and I love the photo of MB on the front !! :).

Kathy T. :)

Thanks a million for taking time to come in with your review Linda, thanks !!! :)   Glad to hear you had a good time and got such a great deal on the t-shirt...good one !!! :)   You can stay on your Bolton Cloud now till November and super to have that to look forward to...super !!! :)  Thanks again Linda, thanks !!! :)

And to add to the excitement, when I returned to the hotel late last night, I was shocked to see that Michael had used one of my song suggestions (many others had suggested the same song too) on his Update on PledgeMusic....that topped my whole day off!

That was super Linda that Michael picked your comment.....gives a lovely buzz when something like that happens and you realize he has actually read what you have written and I would love to hear him singing that song but would love it with Celine as a duet.....can't have everything though, eh  ??? lol

I would love the duet too, but understand how difficult these times are for Celine right now with her husband's illness and she's back doing Vegas shows.  She really owns that song, but it would be interesting to see what Michael can do with it!

Thanks for your review Linda.  I am glad you had fun and got a bargain at the merch table too!!!  Bummer about the songs he left out. I always like the show to open with Soul Provider and not the guitar set.  SP makes for a more exciting opening number but glad it was a fun show no matter what he sang!!LOL

I also asked for My Heart Will Go On for MB's CD on Pledge. I've been rooting for that too so that made me smile also that he's considering it!! :)

Thanks for posting here!!
