Welcome everyone to the 2017 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with concerts scheduled already for 2017!!  MB has some USA shows starting off the year in January and more shows through early April so far and I’m sure many more to come around the globe as the year unfolds!  Also exciting for 2017 is the February 10th release of Songs of Cinema and I am betting a few more songs from the CD will make it in the tour setlist!  Woo Hoo!  This is the best time to be a fan with MB’s concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2017 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Let the year long concert party begin and I wish concerts for all of you in 2017!! I know many fans are on other social media sites but I do hope we can continue with the exciting tour reviews here in 2017!  You all make the thread fun.

Happy Concert Time again in 2017!!

37 DAYS AND COUNTING!!!!!  Just throwing that out there LOL!  I'm so excited I can't stand it.  Hope I get to have my picture taken with him!

Hope it works out for you Joy. I go not anticipating anything to happen. That way, if it doesn't, there's not disappointments & when it happens, total surprise.

Here is article on Michael's upcoming shows on 10th and 11th February in Mesa, California ...

Thanks for the article. I'll be there at both shows & can't wait.

Hello BBs. Last night's Clearwater concert was awesome. My husband dropped me off on the side street out of traffic and as I walked up the sidewalk to the venue I saw MB, Milo and MBs bodyguard getting out of an SUV right in front of me, perfect timing and I didn't even try lol. I said hi to them and they all said Hi back, quite a nice start to the evening. The venue was beautiful, and older theater and small but very nice. I got lucky and scored front row seats a few days ago and wow were they close. I think if I had stretched my legs out I could have almost touched the stage. I was on the left side in front of the piano. Just the perfect spot for when MB sings while sitting on the stool.I had an extra ticket that I was going to try to sell but after waiting outside for a few minutes looking for someone alone I gave up and went in. I told the usher that if he saw a big fan that was alone to send them down to sit in my extra seat. He couldn't believe I was doing that but I told him I wanted someone to be able to enjoy the great seat. A couple of minutes later he came down with a woman and he was so proud of himself. He told me "look I found someone for you". She was sweet and so friendly. She said she has been having a bad year and this was the first good thing to happen in the new year. So yay! It made me so happy. Turns out that she is Milo's childhood friend and sees MB in Clearwater every year. We had a great evening. He looked wonderful and seemed to be in a great mood. He did "I got a woman and Stand by me" from the new CD. He told everyone about his netflix special and told them to keep the kids away from the TV. He said it's pretty sick humor. Can't wait for that. Pretty much the same as the concerts before, someone had requested Steel Bars so he sang that last before the encore. Encore was Georgia. Now how sweet was it for this Georgia girl to have him singing that song almost in my lap. Quite heavenly. He joked with the audience a lot. Audience was great but not as lively as the last show I went to. Old theater vs casino crowd I guess. I was able to give Ruki and Jason a hug and talk to them after the show, as well as speak to Milo. He thanked me for giving his friend the seat. I couldn't wait around after the show because my husband had to work early and had to come get me. It was a great evening and as usual makes me excited for the next adventure.

Just thought of something else to add. Two ladies behind me, mother and daughter I think, were so excited to see MB, the were just amazed at how close he was and every time he started to sing another song, they were like "oh my god, this is awesome, I can't believe this etc". It was so much fun listening to their excitement. So when he was getting ready to come out in the audience I turned around and told them, watch right there, he's coming out and he will come right beside us to get back on stage. Stick out your hand and be ready :) The girl was like "OH MY GOD no way". Sure enough he came out at about the 8th row, walked to the stage next to us and shook our hands on the way up. She gave me a big hug after the concert and said "thank you so much for telling us! I think you might have been to a show or 2 before huh?". Loved it.

I love your review Lynn!! Wayto go all way around. I can feel your excitement. How cool they found a friend of Milo to give the seat to. Such a small world. I did that at Hagerstown and gave two ladies front row side seats and we had center. The hugged me. Was glad to pay it forward too.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks so much Lynn for a wonderful review and so, so pleased you, obviously, had such a terrific time, thanks !!! :)

Hi Lynn, thanks so much for your review! It sounded like a perfect evening! I’m glad to hear the great seat went to a deserving fan. Thanks so much for sharing about the fans behind you, probably their first time too. You’re a real “MB Santa”! lol I’m sure you made that show unforgettable for those 3 fans, good for you Lynn. :D Thanks again for sharing, take good care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

I'm not sure if my comments went through so, if this comes through twice, I'm sorry but Lynn, thanks for your review. Neat about the 2 women & the one friend of Milo's getting a ticket. I think you said y'all got to hold his hand @ one time. as I say, "allrightie then" "You go girl." I'm glad for all of you.

Have added a few pics to 2017 album in Gallery (here is link ... http://www.michaelbolton.com/photo/albums/2017-michael-bolton) and here is a lovely one of Michael with Jan Stephenson, professional golfer from Australia who now lives in Florida, when they met again backstage at Clearwater, Florida show.
