Welcome everyone to the 2017 Tour Review Thread! The upcoming year is going to be exciting with concerts scheduled already for 2017!! MB has some USA shows starting off the year in January and more shows through early April so far and I’m sure many more to come around the globe as the year unfolds! Also exciting for 2017 is the February 10th release of Songs of Cinema and I am betting a few more songs from the CD will make it in the tour setlist! Woo Hoo! This is the best time to be a fan with MB’s concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2017 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Let the year long concert party begin and I wish concerts for all of you in 2017!! I know many fans are on other social media sites but I do hope we can continue with the exciting tour reviews here in 2017! You all make the thread fun.
Happy Concert Time again in 2017!!

Thanks for another great review...a different one with all the other guests present. I think that also is good for the band to have some sort of mix up once in a while! Break the routine now and again. But as I say I do become selfish and just want to see and hear MB :) But I can mix it up once in a while also!! Glad you had great seats and "caught" the guitar pic from Michael. So sweet ! Super that your back survived the concert too. All uphill now! You got some great photos also!! Now you wait for the next concert on the horizon!!

Oops. There goes those darn dust bunnies again had to dust from the brain. Honestly everyone, I don't have memory loss but during the show, I did say, "Michael" & he said "Yes." Oh! & the way he said it---woohoo sexy. But anyway, I forget some of what we said but he said he couldn't see me. You know. I wasn't in the center--section to the right but anyway, he asked me how many shows & I said 500----of course, it wasn't. You know how he loves numbers so, I said one at random as I don't know honestly how many shows I've been to. But, I love it, we had indirect conversation from stage to seat. Ok with me. I sure ain't gonna complain, that's for sure.
Hey Robin in Md, thanks a lot for posting your review! I wanted to ask: isn’t driving a bit hard on your back? I don’t know how far Va is from Md, but I’m glad you thought it was worth it. :D That’s pretty cool being able to catch the sound check. It’s great to know that despite the fact that Michael wasn’t on as long, you did have some special perks. BTW, how many is it now? XD Well anyway, thanks for sharing your fun details Robin, much appreciated, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D
I plan on it girls & everyone as I said, I'm gonna overdose on MB med & be on cloud 10 even if I don't get to shake his hand or speak with him. It's gonna be neat seeing other BB'S. I've seen one already---yesterday. Leesa G.
Have fun with the BB's Robin and I wish you a fantastic night at the concert!!

Hi Sylvie, Actually the surgery fixed the part of the problem that was making driving painful for me, my leg no longer has the pain and my back is doing pretty well with driving now. Thank God.. It was about 1.5 hour drive and we left early the day of to beat the DC traffic. Mostly started to ache when I sat too long at the venue but otherwise I did pretty good. I get achy at times but it's getting better. They told me I could drive after about 3 weeks but I waited twice as long till I even tried to. Earlier on we could get up and down and walk a bit and I could move when I needed too. The park was lovely and weather was nice so we could walk around and sit on benches here and there or go to the car and relax. YES soundcheck was awesome, that venue had amazing sound and we felt like we got 2 shows almost because of it..LOL
Thanks for asking about me.

Link to album of photos from the show at Wolf Trap, Vienna, VA. Most of my pics of Dave Koz/Larry Graham set are from my phone and they don't want to copy over without getting distorted. So I only have 1 showing Larry Graham. It's mostly about MB but wanted to show a few of those guys too, they put on a fantastic show!!
Enjoy! Robin in MD :)
