As many of you know I love music of all sorts and have a wide variety of different types I enjoy
Usually if I am on the computer I am also listening to my music as well

Hi Sylvie,
That was the year I lost my O, I went through a very tough time, still do at times as you know. The Center Of My Heart is my O and I, then and today. Do not mind saying it here among friends. Glad it brought back great memories for you, for me too. The minute I heard this song I cried and that is okay, thank you MB for such a beautiful song!!!!!!
My friend Norma who went to MB's concert with me in Norman just bought this cd a few minutes ago after I told her about it. Thanks for sharing, Sylvie.

Hey Kathy, as soon as I turned off the computer last night, I wondered why I hadn’t asked you about your favourite song so thanks for answering before I asked. :D Good to know you’ve found a song with such deep meaning for you. I’m glad it came to you at just the right time too and I do hope it helps you in your rough spots. So how on earth did you discover OAWLY just now? I know Michael never gets enough airplay, although the single did make it on the AC chart, so it may have been easy to miss, but how did finding it now come about? Hi Sylvie,
I have been picking up a cd here and there of MB's I did not have yet. This one came from Amazon.com. I like cds, the photos and info that comes with them, more of a personal touch I think. I have been picking up a few extra VHS tapes, cds, etc. here lately that will disappear eventually. I also found MB's first book that to my surprise was signed by his mother when it arrived, very special find to me. My friend and I had a blast last night texting back and forth over the songs on this cd.

I can honestly say I understand the thrill of discovering OAWLY!! I found it a couple of years ago, although I couldn't discuss it with anyone because to them, it was 'old' .... but to me, it was the best album Michael had made!!! Although of course, which ever album of Michael's I'm playing is the best! lol
Sylvie, before you ask where I've been all these years, sometimes keeping up with conversations between fans gets very confusing and I was on the Yahoo Group, so it wasn't mentioned much. I decided in the end they were talking about a song released in the US. I later found out that he didn't do a tour for OAWLY, which would explain why it didn't get the publicity it so rightfully deserves.
One of my very many favourites on it begins with "A million miles beyond the voice of reason ...." ;D

Hi Diane, yes I knew you were on the Yahoo group: I heard about you from our Boltonnut all the time. She always said you were one of her best Bolton buds! 2002, as I’ve mentioned, was a very big year for me and the OAWLY album was a big part of it. Michael might not have done a tour in Europe for it, but he did in the U.S. and that’s when I met Robin, our sainted Gail, many other cool Bolton buds and Orrin. As a matter of fact,since Michael was on Jive Records at the time, Michael was everywhere on TV and the radio. He was on hour-long radio programs, plus the 2 songs from OAWLY in the movie “Snow Dogs”: it was Michael Bolton heaven! Lol It’s a crying shame that other songs didn’t get more airplay,, but OAWLY was heard both in English and French here in Montreal. As a matter of fact, I think the French version did even better, the DJ’s couldn’t get over it... Anyway, the song you’re looking for is Kathy’s 2nd favourite, “I surrender” and I agree, it’s just fantastic: like falling backwards in slow motion into a cloud of love... lolWow, where did that come from? lolWell anyway, thanks for sharing Diane, I will be having a great Sunday

Hi Diane and Sylvie,
I was just hoping for someone to share my emotions of this beautiful cd with a few minutes ago, I came on here and Lo and behold, you and Sylvie were right here chatting about it.
I have been listening again today. It a top favorite for certain on my list.
I told Sylvie that I did indeed have this cd. It is a long story as to its meaning to me and what happened to it 10 years ago. Thank goodness I have it back again. I ordered 3 more cds because I will wear it out for sure. My favs are The Center Of My Heart and I Surrender. I have not seen Snow Dogs, Sylvie.
This has been a major memory week for me, and MB, as usual, a big good part of it. This cd was released a few days after my O passed away. I know he would have loved it with me. He, like me, a big fan of music that speaks from the soul, no one does it better than MB.

Love your story, Sylvie, it had to be a wonderful year for all of you.

Well Sylvie, that was certainly an MB year to remember!! Oh how amazing to meet so many wonderful friends, all in one year!! I love the way I Surrender starts but only Sylvie could actually find those words to describe it. It truly is like falling backwards in slow motion into a cloud of ... love :D Sylvie, if Michael ever gets lost for words perhaps he should give you a call ;D
I could mention so many more that are my favourites too ... but honestly, I love the whole album. It would've been amazing to hear Michael sing any one of the songs off it.
I've got Snow Dogs, I always wondered where those 2 songs came from, until of course I found OAWLY :D Kathy, if you get the chance, order Snow Dogs from Amazon ... it's a light-hearted comedy and very funny in itself, but with Michael sat there, his music too, you'll love it :D I hope you will anyway!
On a personal note, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Kathy. It's good to know that Michael has brought back good memories for you.
Ooh, just though of Simply ... I do love that one too! Okay, I'd better stop before I go through the whole album ;D

The memories are always around but sometimes they kick like it was yesterday, I am listening to it now. I will check into Snow Dogs, bet it is a great movie. I have not taken time to read everything on this comment page but it is a good one. Thanks for sharing my renewed find. By the way, well written songs and music never grow old, they are ageless.
