Hi and WELCOME to the forum Anneliese and firstly have to say Michael does not come on here and therefore does not respond to messages or comments.   

So glad you like "Fathers and Daughters" for it is a beautiful song and can't wait to hear Michael singing it live although believe plenty of tears would fall if that ever happened for can hardly listen to recording without some tears being there.   Believe too it is a song that lends itself to every type of relationship for it could also be "Fathers and Sons" or "Mothers and Daughters" that is what makes it so beautiful and the lyrics, so precious and touching.....let your own imagination take you to that all important relationship and you will hear Michael singing about it, you will !!!

Hi Anneliese and welcome to the forum. Well, Michael didn't write it, but if you think of "Lean on me", that's certainly a song about friendship Michael is proud to sing. :D I'm sure you can share that one with your best friend until Michael writes his own... :D Now since you're new on the forum, let us know if you need help finding things: there's always someone around to help. Sorry Sylvie Michael maybe did not write it on his own but he was a co-writer along with Emanuel Kiriakou and Evan Bogart

Sorry to hear you have health issues Anneliese.  I hope that if, and when, Michael comes to Switzerland you will be able to go to a concert and possibly hear Fathers & Daughters live or even be able to travel a little, if not too far for you, if he comes back to Germany for a tour.....hope so and hope you will get chance to see and hear him.
