Hi Cynthia, I just read your comment on the blog about pre-ordering the CD and DVD. I hope for your sake that you meant you pre-ordered it from somewhere in the States, if you want the right region code that is... :) Take care and welcome to the forum! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi again Cynthia, you have such a pretty name... I'm honored to be your first friend! lol So tell me, I'm a little rusty with the abreviations of States, being from Canada: which state is MS? Is it Minesota? I like to know where and when my friends can go to concerts so I can live vicariously through them! lol Well, in any case, hope you get your DVD soon. Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

My picture on the wall is from Torrington CT this past March at a meet and greet at the concert I went to! Great nite!! I have another in my gallery of pictures dated 1996 nashville that I took with Michael in 1994 at a fund raiser for "This Close". You have never seen him in concert? If not, you will have a great time. I wanted to go to Biloxi but the week before I just get home from a 2 week cruise so couldn't quite fit it in!! I just saw he will be in Tunica also in Oct!! I will be there!!!
  • Kerie VanWinkle

I love to travel! I have a sister in CT is why I went to Torrington CT. I try to go to as many as I can in the general area. I usually try and see him in Las Vegas as my husband loves going out there. When I first started going to his concerts, we were in the navy stationed alot of places and and had the chance to see him many different places. Sometimes my husband would go on a deployment and me and the kids would take off and follow his concerts in the summertime back in the early 90"s They still remember that!! now that we are settled in Memphis, I go to as many as I can and as many as I can convince my husband I need to go to!! I just saw Gail posted new concerts and he is in Nashville (if it doesnt float away) in August and my daughter lives there so I am sure I will go to that one even though we get back on the 22 Aug from vacation! So that will be Nashville, Tunica and Branson, pretty cool huh!! Was working on Atlanta but the tickets for that show go on sale while I am gone and I wont have computer access, so I guess I will have to miss that one!! Unless I figure out some other way to get them. Gee, I sound like an old lady stalker!!LOL!!

Hi again Cynthia, I'm okay with my name now but in the 5th grade, I didn't think it was very special because there were 5 of us in the same class! lol I've been to Mississippi in 2005, at the Beau Rivage casino , just before hurricane Katrina. The concert was fantastic and there was a lot of interaction with the audience, I just loved it! My husband and I had a little trouble ajusting to the weather in July down there, whew! I just know you'll enjoy the concert and hope your hubby does too. I find that a lot of people make a weekend of an MB concert. The first one is always special... So, how did you like Montreal? I know Michael is coming back to Niagara next February and hope he comes back on this side of the border. Great talking with you Cynthia and looking forward to talk with you more! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Yes I have been in Ar. all my life. I have done some traveling in my life and always have loved Tenn. It is a beautiful laid back country State. I do love Arkansas for all the mountains and water-lakes and rivers we have. My favorite state has to be Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. The city is superb. Yes all of Michael Bolton has a wonderful ,beautiful songs and he sings them from his heart. I bet he is a good person. I don't even have the words for him anymore.. He has been my favorite for a long time. I hope you have a good wk. Stay cool. Its been so hot for several wks in Arkansas and looks like we will have the heat for a while. I hope Tenn. doesn't get in the warning for heat. Take care.

I have never been to any of his concerts. What day in October is he going to be in Tunica? I have never been there but have talked about going. I have passed by it a few times but never made it there yet. I read the comment you posted about losing your love 8 yrs ago. There will be someone special again for you. You are still very young. I was married for 36 yrs. to a abuser and someone that thought he was Gods gift to women. I met him on a blind date at 15 ys. old and he was 16 yrs old. We got married at 17 yrs. old, had 3 stair step children. I got so sick of my life and etc. I have been divorced since 2003. I have never dealt with him and his bimbo. I dealt with him through the courts. He ended up moving 5 miles from where I live.. Our property is in West LR Ar. up for sell. A contact order was issued on him and his bimbo in 2004 for the rest of our life. He makes me ill..... I have someone in my life that lives on my property . He has a handicaped 21 yr old son that lives on my property also. This property is a home that my x built before the divorce. I am very happy with ;my life and would not change much about it. You take care and stay happy in life. Your friend.

Hi Cynthia, Gail started a new thread a couple of days ago about Michael finally answering some of our questions from the “submit your questions for Michael” blog. The answers are printed in the new tour book. Did you happen to buy a tour book when you saw him in Biloxi? Gail is asking for help, for the fans who can’t get to a concert, but would like to read Michael’s answers. This is the link to the thread:

Let us know when you can. Take care and have a great week! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hey there, yes, I am excited about tomorrow nite!! I wish I could tell you how to get backstage, but I don't know how either, the times I have gotten back there were meet and greet tickets with the concert tickets!! I have never been lucky enough to get them at Tunica!! I am on the front row, so please come introduce yourself to me, or I will try and find you, ok....see ya tomorrow...
    Kerie
  • Kerie VanWinkle

Hey Cynthia, Branson was awesome!! The crowd was not allowed at the stage was the only bad part, but that is ok for me, I was on the front, but still the feeling of standing at the stage makes ya feel young again!! It was a much bigger venue and huge stage, I still like the Tunica setting better!! I put a review and videos in the concert thread..if you want emails, go to the bottom of the thread and press on the "follow" at the bottom, or just click on the bottom even if it says to "stop following", whichever is at the bottom. If I have stop following pressed, I get all the emails, so go figure!! I just check it daily to see who post on there.I also put some pictures in the gallery, so go check them out, ok. I am off to Atlanta tomorrow, it is at a very small venue and it has lots of tickets available, so do not know how that crowd will be...

That is cool!  Where are your seats in Cherokee?  As far as backstage, just some selected concerts have those meet and greets!  I was lucky to get a couple last year at CT and Nashville, but as any other time, I just have lucked out to see him outside!  I always check when I get there to see if there are any meet and greets, but usually not lucky enough to get one, I don't know how some people always get them!!!  I will try when I get to Cherokee as I am and advid Harrahs player in Tunica, I am gonna go begging!!! Casinos seem to be the hardest to get back there, for some reason.  Maybe we can meet up again, looking forward to seeing ya...let me hear from ya soon...Kerie

Hi Cynthia, i’ve just read your comment on the 2011 tour review thread. I just wanted to say in Gail’s defense, that all she can do is pass your request along to Michael’s team for a meet & greet sweetie. It has nothing to do with your longevity as a fan, or whether she knows you or not. As Kerie said, try your luck at the tour bus or limo after the show, write to the promoter if you can, call your local AC radio station who promotes him and ask, or check EBay because sometimes backstage passes have been part of packages, although I’ve heard these can be costly. I wish you the best of luck Cynthia, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Cynthia, I'm afraid the reason the casinos hire entertainers is mostly for their high rollers so they are going to take care of them first.  With the fan club disbanded a few years ago there is no fan seating any longer but I am going to check to see if maybe closer to time seating will be released. Hi Cynthia, I've just read your comment on the "Wendy Williams" blog and just to let you know about the "Gems" songs, from what fans have been saying on the tour thread, if Michael doesn't have a duet partner, he at least sings "Love is everything" and "Pride in the name of love" so you would at least hear 2 new songs. So far, lucky fans have heard Michael with Delta Goodrem and sometimes Orianthi in the U.S. and many more duet partners overseas. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and have a great time in Biloxi! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Cynthia, unfortunately, Michael’s concerts in Canada are too far and we can’t afford the lodging. Now if I could drive, things would be different! :D Rama is 8 hours away from here and Thunder Bay is even further. Sweetie, frankly, I think the most you can expect from OWOL is “Hope it’s too late” because Michael has sung it at a few shows recently. My guess is that if he doesn’t have a duet partner, he fills up the show with different songs. “Pride” has had a lot of good feedback lately and fans are saying they don’t even miss “Rock me baby” when he sings it. I don’t get the Wendy Williams show here but hope someone will post the video somewhere. His “Love is everything” was really nice on Regis. You have a nice day too Cynthia, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
