Hi Amie and congrats. to you for have you seen Gail's post about his staff believing he would love the "wall hanging" of squares because something personal from each fan on here.....well done you for coming up with suggestion !!! :)  I do hope too that they make arrangements and you get to give it to him personally.....that would be wonderful and a nice little piece of icing on the cake for all the work you are going to do in putting it all together....so pleased for you !!! :)

Bonjour Amie, so how are you enjoying the experience of interacting with many fans? :D I always thought you were too busy to interact with other fans and frankly never knew how you had time to message with me! :D Well we are a friendly bunch here and I do have a few friends I keep in closer contact with. I hope you make friends too Amie.  I’m glad you have a handy technical resource for your book. This one flew right by, didn’t it? Do you feel close to completion yet and are you satisfied with what you’ve come up with so far? Break a leg with agentsgirl, you've been searching a long time it seems. Well on my side, I’m finally working on finishing touches on my latest work and wish I could stop and contemplate it for a while longer, but I want it in the mail next week. I’ve done 4 elaborate projects in the past year and 2 with deadlines and though it was worth it, it takes a lot of the fun out of it, so no more deadlines for me. Bonjour Amie, isn’t it funny how the grass is always greener in the neighbor’s yard? If we have solitude, we want company and vice-versa. So what does an author post on their blog? Do you share much of your creative process? Just wondering. I got the same with my “Motown” blog myself: mostly readers. I don’t really mind though: I’ll always share my opinions about music anyway, it’s fun! :D lol nice picture of papers breeding like rabbits! :D Sounds like you could use a little bit of organization... About my discussion thread, fans had discussed it earlier this year and I just got the ball rolling, I’m just glad people joined in. :D  The weather is just screwy up here girl: last week, on Wednesday we had temps at about 10 Farenheit as a maximum with snow and today, I heard it was gonna be in the mid 50’s, go figure! Salut Amie, well just to let you know, Gail just told me she’d pass on the lib info to Michael’s office. :D I didn’t have access to the Amazon preview when they first put it on their page, but a friend copied them for me. I only read a little part, but I think reading the first chapter would suck the fun out of the full effect, so I’ve decided to wait. Girl, we’ve been waiting since March so what’s a few more days? At least, I’m glad I was able to share it with a friend and she said she just “might get the whole book”! lol About Michael stepping in for an ailing celebrity, I think it was in 2003, in August I believe and Michael stepped in for Ray Charles. I remember it vividly, because we were dying to hear about Michael’s new album, “Vintage" at the time, that was being released September 2. He sang “You don’t know me”, which is a Ray Charles song and is included on “Vintage”. Not a BB King fan Amie? :D Yikes, Keith Richards wrote a book? Interesting... Thanks Amie, for being such a snail supporter! Lol I sometimes think I should change at least one of the pics on my page, but keep thinking of how fond you are of that guy... :D I had a brilliant idea on how to finish up both my squares yesterday and hope to achieve that soon. Bonjour Amie,  how are you today? Well, I hope. I’m pretty busy since my daughter is visiting, but for a limited time. I’ve only heard about the “50 shades” trilogy and I have to say that the boat is going right by me, just like the “Harry Potter” series. Once I start one though, I plow through also. I can’t remember exactly, but I think I read “Great expectations” in a week, which was like 14 or 16 tapes. I loved it so much that I bought it on CD but have yet to read it again, too busy these days. Okay Amie, in case you haven’t been following the “Soul of it all” thread, here it is:

People are starting to post dates for book signings and author presentations, so thought you might want to keep an eye on it, since management seems to be tardy in putting a list together. As for my daughter’s visit, we’re squeezing everything we can out of it, but she had a check-list of things to do while here so taking one day at a time. I’m working hard on my squares and pretty much nothing else right now, I just want to get them done. I’m making both at the same time. At least, I can sew while we’re catching up on our DVD watching and listening. I don’t mind the winter, but have few opportunities to go out. My opera buddy is moving and sending me a treasury of opera-related stuff and that’ll be plenty to take me through winter and beyond! Oh yeah, my daughter used to have mittens like that... They’ll do for going from place to place. Okay mon amie, the gang’s home and we have to find space for my treasury so I’m out. Hope to write again soon. Prends soin de toi. I just got home from my Mom's and we will be putting our squares in the mail tomorrow hopefully if the weather isn't to bad,  That pesky ice hit us today. Hopefully mr. sun will melt it and we will be back to normal.

Bonjour Amie, just a pit stop to bring you up to speed. Woops, what's up with the car racing metaphors? XD I’ve told you on my thread that Pilar from Spain has sent her square  and apparently Kathy from Ca has sent hers too. That's really cool that Missy  sent hers and one from her mom. Oh I know Sylvia’s squares are pretty spectacular. Now if you’re setting up somewhere to sew, just try and remember how many squares  you have, because it might not be easy to keep them all  in one place. I can only imagine the colors and creativity people use..: I wish I could see it! Yep, I’m sorry about the Arctic Express Amie! Lol We had close to 50 degrees on Monday but it’s back down into the single didgets Farenheit, which is better than -23 or even -35 Celsius some time last week. Wow, I’m surprised the geese don’t fly further down in the winter. I guess maybe some are just visiting relatives... ;D Michael had mentioned a while back a lot of birds around his pond, which is why he said they’d put up a fence, though I wonder if that’s helping. Hi Amie, thank you so much for your information. After I read your post on the thread that DHL doesn't deliver to PO Boxes, I really was concerned our squares might have gone lost. So I really enjoy my relief now. Who ever was so kind to deliver collected extra points in heaven LOL. Like you, btw! I don't envy you a second for this exhausting work, but I'm eager to see the result LOL. So I'm glad you enjoy my little gift.
