Michael has a milestone birthday coming up in February 2018. I ran an idea past Gail that passed with approval.

I have small cards that are 2.5X3.5. The idea for the card is not to say happy birthday, but you have room to put a few sentences to tell Michael why you love him, his music or how his music helped you in hard times. It’s should be big enough for a wallet size photo if you would like.

Then when he’s home sitting at his desk, he can pull 1 or 2 cards to read when he has the time. Our words will be with him all year.

I request a SASE, and I will send you a card. Write your note and put in your picture. When your finished, mail it back to me.
For those out of the country, I checked with my postmaster and she said you can put your own postage on the return envelope equivalent to $1.15 US.

Email me, Sally, at MYSCRTPSSN@gmail.com and I can give you an address to send your SASE (self addressed stamped envelope).

A second option that isn’t as personal, is to email me a short note and I can cut and paste it onto a card for you. I don’t want to handle pictures this way because I’m not that computer literate and don’t want to make errors with something as personal as a picture.

When all the cards are gathered, I’ll put them in some sort of decorate box. And the box of cards will be Michael’s birthday gift from us.

It might seem early, but it’s something that we can work on Now through January. I’d like to be finished by February since I would need to get a box and mail it off to Michael.

Hey Adam, good to hear from you. Heehee thanks! Oh I just love babies and it’s hard to believe my granddaughter will be 2 soon. She’s giggly and full of life and talks my ear off, plus her little brother is following in her footsteps. I’m a happy grandma! You know, my youngest daughter’s favorite MB song is HCWBL too, I think because she’s heard it so much growing up. Is that why you love it too? I have a special memory of that song: Michael was singing it the first time I held his hand... :D BTW, I have a question for you: why doesn’t your mom join this site? Hey Adam, that’s the easiest question in the world,since my favorite song of all-time is “When I’m back on my feet again”. It’s not because it’s helped me get over any life-altering event in my life, it’s just so beautiful and Michael’s rendition was simply inspired. Did you know he recorded it in one take? I also have a piano accompaniment version on a couple of U.K. singles, in which he phrases it exactly the same, but more subdued. Sorry for the novel... XD I just love that song so much I can’t see straight... XD So what’s your favorite song and why? BTW, I ask practically all my friends how long they’ve been fans, but also: do you have an extensive Michael collection? Hey Adam, well first, thanks for accepting my friend request and so fast! :D Now second, I’m sorry to say I can’t appreciate your picture sweetie: I’m blind. :D But please, don’t feel bad and no need to apologize. BTW, my profile picture isn’t with Michael, it’s with his brother Orrin. I met Orrin a couple of times during the Michael Bolton Charities gala weekend, in 2002 and 2004. That picture is a great conversation starter... :D Orrin is  a real sweetheart and he’s always been kind to me. I’ve been writing to him on and off for about  15 years and sometimes he replies. I’ve bought both his CD’s, but his music is very different from Michael, but he’s got a great voice too. In case you’re wondering, I work with a screen-reader program that speaks what I type.
