Michael has a milestone birthday coming up in February 2018. I ran an idea past Gail that passed with approval.
I have small cards that are 2.5X3.5. The idea for the card is not to say happy birthday, but you have room to put a few sentences to tell Michael why you love him, his music or how his music helped you in hard times. It’s should be big enough for a wallet size photo if you would like.
Then when he’s home sitting at his desk, he can pull 1 or 2 cards to read when he has the time. Our words will be with him all year.
I request a SASE, and I will send you a card. Write your note and put in your picture. When your finished, mail it back to me. You could even send your note on a 2x3 size paper and I’ll attach it to a card. Send your picture to if you like. That would take out the SASE step.
For those out of the country, I checked with my postmaster and she said you can put your own postage on the return envelope equivalent to $1.15 US.
Email me, Sally, at MYSCRTPSSN@gmail.com and I can give you an address to send your SASE (self addressed stamped envelope).
A second option that isn’t as personal, is to email me a short note and I can cut and paste it onto a card for you. I don’t want to handle pictures this way because I’m not that computer literate and don’t want to make errors with something as personal as a picture.
Just let me know the option that works best for you.
When all the cards are gathered, I’ll put them in some sort of decorate box. And the box of cards will be Michael’s birthday gift from us.
It might seem early, but it’s something that we can work on Now through January. I’d like to be finished by February since I would need to get a box and mail it off to Michael.

Hi Devi, don’t worry about the delay responding, glad to hear from you. :D I wish you well in your new job sweetie. So how is Agnes doing in America, aside from watching “South Park”? lol She really seemed to enjoy watching it with Michael... :D Well sweetie, if I ever hear that Michael sang live with Agnes and find the video, you’d be the first one who would hear about it. Michael is in Japan right now. He actually had to cancel a show in Indonesia because there was a problem with the venue. Well anyway, yes I’m doing pretty good Devi, thanks for asking. Hurricane Sandy just passed a bit to the South of us. We’re okay and only had heavy rain and strong winds but some 49,000 people are without power North of us in the Laurentians and a good part of Toronto Ontario are without power too, but New York and New Jersey were declared as devastated areas by President Obama and we’re hoping to hear from our friends who may be flooded or without power too. Otherwise, we’re starting to try and come up with a good idea for a present to Michael for his 60^th birthday in February. Hi Devi, long time no see! I was thinking of you today because we're starting to get reports and articles from your part of the world since Michael is touring Asia right now. He was just in Malasia and Korea, will be in Indonesia, then moving on to Japan. He will be, or has already sung "Said I loved you... but I lied" with Lea Simanjuntak, so I was wondering if Agnes Monica was supposed to sing with him tomorrow, or if she's touring elsewhere. Hi Devi, sorry it took a while for me to write but I’ve had computer problems and have been off-line for a week and I’m having a hard time catching up. I’ve heard from my friend  who got the Japanese release of "Gems". She’s told me that there was only a small black and white booklet added to the original one and there are no pictures of Agnes, but Michael did write this about her:

Hi Devi, I just quickly wanted to thank you for your sweet message. Being blind is not an issue on this forum so it’s all good! Oh I know what you mean about people not accepting trouble, I used to have a friend like that. Life happens but you can’t let every little thing bother you. Besides, this is a place to have fun! Oh I don’t know if I deserve admiration for just going through life, lol but thank you Devi for the kind words! OMG, good luck getting your booklet signed, let me know how that works out! Well Michael is on your side of the world now. Let me know if you see him on TV. We’ve been told Michael might be doing some promo over there. Hi Devi, when my friend read about the many versions of « Gems”, she said we’d have presents for all 12 days of Christmas! Lol Oh no sweetie, the fact that I’m legally blind is a fact of life. If other people can see and I can’t, it’s not their fault. :D I did show your picture to a friend who could see it though. I used to see when I was younger so it’s fun to know how things look sometimes, but be sure you didn’t say anything wrong. I used to mention it to people but since I can manage on the site with very little problems, it seems pointless. You are so sweet Devi, thank you for your kind words! I’ve made lots of great fan friends on this forum and this is the first site I can actually interact with people so I’m having the time of my life here!
