Michael has a milestone birthday coming up in February 2018. I ran an idea past Gail that passed with approval. I have small cards that are 2.5X3.5. The idea for the card is not to say happy birthday, but you have room to put a few sentences to tell Michael why you love him, his music or how his music helped you in hard times. It’s should be big enough for a wallet size photo if you would like. Then when he’s home sitting at his desk, he can pull 1 or 2 cards to read when he has the time. Our words will be with him all year. I request a SASE, and I will send you a card. Write your note and put in your picture. When your finished, mail it back to me. For those out of the country, I checked with my postmaster and she said you can put your own postage on the return envelope equivalent to $1.15 US. Email me, Sally, at MYSCRTPSSN@gmail.com and I can give you an address to send your SASE (self addressed stamped envelope). A second option that isn’t as personal, is to email me a short note and I can cut and paste it onto a card for you. I don’t want to handle pictures this way because I’m not that computer literate and don’t want to make errors with something as personal as a picture. When all the cards are gathered, I’ll put them in some sort of decorate box. And the box of cards will be Michael’s birthday gift from us. It might seem early, but it’s something that we can work on Now through January. I’d like to be finished by February since I would need to get a box and mail it off to Michael. Allo Kristel, merci ma belle! I was glad to read you made it to the "Suggestions for songs..." thread. I just have to tell you: you would be entitled to choose 2 or 3 more songs. You have the excuse that you've never been to a Michael concert and you didn't know, but Michael does include "Steel bars" about 98% of the time, "How can we be lovers" 100% of the time and "Soul provider" pretty often too. If you tell Sylvia that you didn't know, she'll let you change your entry. The idea is to choose songs Michael doesn't perform often or has never performed in concert. To help you, here's a list of songs Michael sings practically every time: "Dock of the bay", "To love somebody", "Said I loved you but I lied", "You don't know me", "Sweet home Chicago", "Nessun dorma", "The prayer", "when a man loves a woman", "How can we be lovers", "Steel bars", "Time love and tenderness". Since 2011, he's been singing "How am I supposed to live without you" as a duet with Kelly Levesque and at times, he also sings "Georgia on my mind". In the past year, he's also sung "Ain't no mountain high enough" with Kelly Levesque too. That should give you a good idea. I hope you're not finding the wait until March too long. I haven't had the time to think about it, since I've been pretty busy doing things surrounding my granddaughter and my eldest got married: too much good stuff! :D Well anyway, I'll let you go for now. Hiya sweetams, I just had to share that first, Gail has confirmed that T's have been crossed and I's have been dotted and even better news: I think I'll be sitting right behind you! :D I'd been in touch with Mde Latreille and to make a long story short: she upgraded my seats! I feel like doing a little dance, though I know I should pace myself! lol Anyway, we'll keep in touch and hopefully could even meet up at the PDA in March. Hi again Kristel, you know, if I were in your shoes, I think I’d hold on to those tickets because frankly, what ar the odds you’d get seats that good again? You might want to call the PDA though, just to make sure there won’t be a problem if let’s say the concert is rescheduled for January 2015. I don’t blame you still secretly hoping and if I hadn’t been disappointed this many times, I might too. It was an extra expense we didn’t need anyway. So now, although I’m not holding my breath, I am still hoping, but putting it out of my mind and wishing I can be happily surprised. :D Take care sweetie, my best to you and your sister. Le producteur du spectacle de ce spectacle , Evenko, nous avise qu'il n'y a pas de date retenue pour l'instant et peut être pas avant le début de 2015. Vous pouvez communiquer avec un agent du service de la billetterie dès maintenant pour un remboursement car les remboursements sont autorisés. Vous pouvez toujours conserver vos billets mais il semble difficile de trouver pour la production de trouver une nouvelle date .

Mde Latreille basically says that the promoter has no date held for rescheduling as of date, we're allowed a refund and we can also keep our tickets, but it doesn't look like there will be a rescheduling, possibly not before 2015. What bothers me is that they can't just make an official announcement saying it's canceled, most likely so they can keep our money... (sigh) I'll leave it in my husband's hands, but most likely, he'll get a refund. I guess I shouldn't be upset because my seats really weren't great, but if you're like me, you know that MB concerts are about as frequent as solar eclipses here... Funny enough, I realized yesterday that the last time Michael came here was 5 years ago last Thursday... Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend anyway sweetie. We have a load of concert reviews from Germany and the U.K. to look forward to in the next couple of months, so that's better than a kick in the head... XP Take care Kristel.
