Michael has a milestone birthday coming up in February 2018. I ran an idea past Gail that passed with approval. I have small cards that are 2.5X3.5. The idea for the card is not to say happy birthday, but you have room to put a few sentences to tell Michael why you love him, his music or how his music helped you in hard times. It’s should be big enough for a wallet size photo if you would like. Then when he’s home sitting at his desk, he can pull 1 or 2 cards to read when he has the time. Our words will be with him all year. I request a SASE, and I will send you a card. Write your note and put in your picture. When your finished, mail it back to me. For those out of the country, I checked with my postmaster and she said you can put your own postage on the return envelope equivalent to $1.15 US. Email me, Sally, at MYSCRTPSSN@gmail.com and I can give you an address to send your SASE (self addressed stamped envelope). A second option that isn’t as personal, is to email me a short note and I can cut and paste it onto a card for you. I don’t want to handle pictures this way because I’m not that computer literate and don’t want to make errors with something as personal as a picture. When all the cards are gathered, I’ll put them in some sort of decorate box. And the box of cards will be Michael’s birthday gift from us. It might seem early, but it’s something that we can work on Now through January. I’d like to be finished by February since I would need to get a box and mail it off to Michael. Your welcome to share my email with anyone you think may be interested in contributing to Michael’s milestone 65! Looking forward to hearing from you, Sally

Hi gail. I left michael a teddy bear at his cranston rhode island concert. One of his people said they would give it to him. Any possible way u can check it out for me. I am glad he is feeling better though. I waited out in that cold weather saturday to give it to him but he never came out so i waited an hour then had to go. I myself had a bad cold. Much better now. Any news on this would be appreciated . Thanks
Hi Gail, oh I see, I was under the impression Jacalyn was your only child… I’m really glad to hear being with your sons is helping you feel better. I don’t know how close friends you were with Jacalyn’s former helpers, but have you thought of maybe doing some activities with them for a little transition period? It seems to be a big year for change for a lot of moms on the forum with kids leaving the house. My youngest daughter moved out late last year, just too quickly and I’ve had a hard time dealing with her absence, but I’ve been putting together a den for myself so it keeps me busy. Thank goodness, at least we’re in touch. I know it’ll take time sweetie, but don’t deny yourself the grieving process, so you can wash it out of your system and then move on with the good memories you’ve shared. My sister says that it helps her sometimes to talk to my mom, although she’s been gone for many years. Well anyway, if you need an ear, feel free to share. :D Do keep in touch Gail. Big warm hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada xxx
P.S.: I just wanted to know if you were able to red the personal message I've sent in your forum in-box last week, take care.
Hi Gail, I just wanted to let you know that your comment on my page has touched another mother’s heart. My friend Mary, (Meggy’s mom who uses Meggy’s profile) has read your comment and wanted to extend her condolences and is keeping you in her prayers. She herself has an only daughter who’s moving out, but she realized how deep your heartbreak must be next to ours, because we still have our daughters. Take good care sweetie and know that angels are watching over you, God bless. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Hi Gail, nice to hear from you! My Christmas is just starting and my daughters are coming today, which is all I asked for, for Christmas! Glad you've had a wonderful day and your daughter was well. I hope to catch up with you really soon. I'm really glad you're ending the year on a positive note. Take good care of yourself and thank you for writing! Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Hi Gail, Glad you enjoyed seeing Robin...how great!! I will post my review of "Rock of Ages" in the off-topic part of the forum. Look forward to seeing your pictures of Robin!! Also glad to be your friend too! Hugs, Helena
Hi Gail, I read on Sylvie's page you are seeing Robin Gibb, how great!! I belong to his web site, even though I haven't been on it in awhile. Hope you have a great time and let us know how the show was! Hugs, Helena
Hi again Gail, I forgot to tell you something. Remember the David Foster event I was telling you about in my last message? Well, someone in the audience caught 2 songs Michael did with their I-Phone. Here are the links. First, Michael and Lara Fabian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhEJzQC0sSo
and Michael with Seal, poor quality sound but wonderful vocals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m6JFigN7-o&feature=youtu.be&a
Well hope you enjoy those Gail. I can’t wait to hear it properly on TV or DVD! Take care sweetie and we’ll talk soon. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Hi Gail, so good to hear from you! I was just talking to my friend Robin from CA about you! She was catching up with messages and she forwarded me the details of Robin Gibb’s surgery and since I didn’t know when it was, I wondered if you would have a concert! Sweetie, my friend Robin was a co-founder of a Bee Gees fan club for the blind! I could give you the link to her page if you’d like. Okay, back to you, well first, I’m really sorry to hear Jacalyn had been sick for so long, poor girl… Is her new doctor a specialist in her type of disease? Good for you having been able to garden. We’ve had our first snowfall here in Quebec on Saturday: enough to cover the cars and lawns, but it had cleared for Halloween. Oh I do know about the Bee Gees, but I didn’t know Robin was touring alone. Does he have a new album out? Barry’s always been my favorite, I love his voice!Oh wow, I’m sure it’ll be fun to get together with old friends for the concert: have a great time Gail! Oh by the way, in case you didn’t know, Michael’s Xmas CD “Home for Christmas” is ready to be pre-ordered from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. I’m personally holding out to find out the track listings, because it sounds like there’ll be 2 versions of it. We’re waiting for official word from the admin or Michael himself. Oh and I don’t know if you check the blogs Gail, but Michael’s daughter Taryn had her baby girl on October 12: she named her Amelia Rose, isn’t that pretty? Well I gotta go Gail but it was great hearing from you. Be sure to let me know how your Robin Gibb concert went and your Simply Red one too! Take care and I’ll look forward to hear from you. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
