Congratulations Michael on a totally well deserved honor! How appropriate. Didn't know Gary was there too. I like his music too!

OOPS - that "strange" word was supposed to be "courage" (go figure) = I  commend you!  And needless to say you have my utmost respect.  My compliments on your amiable writing style - it's so refreshing and fun to read.  I can't wait to pick it up again and continue what I have come to call it The Saga of Michael Bolton or for short "Miraculous Michael Bolton"!  To say that I admire you even more is almost ludicrous.  I can't imagine anyone reading this book and not admiring you.  I've been calling you our 21st Century "Lon Chaney" what with your impersonations in Jack Sparrow but I'll have to amend that to include Superman - the man of steel, Ironman - the man with the will of iron, and Captain America - indeed the epitome of the American Dream.  Maestro, I always said that you are a legend in your time - indeed a legend for ALL time!

Maestro the more I read your book, "The Soul of it All," the more I appreciate each and every honor, award, recognition.  To say that you "deserve it" is putting it ever so mildly in view of what you have experienced and sacrificed in order to get where you are today.  What a story of strength, fortitude, patience, endurance, xiyeFWM commitment, faith...you've more than earned it or deserve it.  No wonder you are so wise ; )  It is amazing how sweet and gentle you are and how generous with others less fortunate - you've been there and you know well what many are going through.

A note to my Bolton Buddies: you've got to read "The Soul of It All."  I can't put it down.  It's both humorous (as only Michael can make me laugh) and touching.  He really is so talented!  The combination of his easy friendly style combined with his unique sense of humor is delightful and refreshing.  I could so identify with so many feelings and incidents that have made him who he is - a phenomenol human being and a legend in his own time.  I didn't realize that he hitchhiked across the country when he was only 14!!!  What a kid - what determination - what chutzpah!  LOL  Didn't know how much he enjoys karate and how he "corrupted" the local dojo master in his long-haired hippie days.  That story is priceless.  I'm in the middle of the book now.  He's just received his first contract with Epic at the tender age of 14.  Can't wait to see what happens next!  Read it - you'll love it and the man who wrote it.  You can't help but love him!!!
