I never dreamed I would see Michael in concert let alone meet the man. As this gorgeous person walked towards me I forgot everything I wanted to say but he was so gentle and kind that I told him after I was hit by a car and left in a coma for 3 months - this was about 17 years ago - everyone who came to visit me in hospitol would play his music and I simply would go into a peaceful place and I believed he helped save my life and he was one of my angels - he seemed touched and asked to give me a kiss - GUESS WHAT I SAID!!! We had a picture taken and henever I am down I just look at it and a smile covers my face - travelling across Canada to see him in a wheelchair seems to have given me courage to keep on with the struggles in life- I will always have a special place in my heart for Michael and wishim all God's blessings -HOPE U ALL ENJOY Lori

Hi again Lori, oh yes, life is funny, sometimes funny haha, sometimes funny-strange… I’m legally blind: I have a degenerating hereditary disease called retinitis pigmentosa. I see light, but the world is basically a very fuzzy mass in various shades of grey. I don’t even turn my computer screen on any more. But as long as I can hear my kids laughter and loving words, the sound of wind chimes and crickets and my favorite sound which is Michael’s voice, all will be right in the world… :D Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hey Lori, you did it! Thank you for not giving up trying sweetie and thank you for sharing! I’m sure it meant a lot to Michael that you told him he was one of your angels! I was struck by a car too, when I was 9, but I was very lucky: I only spent a few weeks in the hospital and have no residual effect, that I know of…  So, you’ve been in a wheelchair ever since? There are some really nice ladies in wheelchairs here like Jaana from Finland and Jennifer from the U.K. to only name a couple. Michael has helped and touched a lot of people with his voice and his music and he still does it every day, both in big and small ways. I’m really happy for you that your meeting was so special. Michael says it’s very gratifying to know how much his music means to people. Thanks for sharing your story Lori! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
