Cancellation of Stuttgart Show
I want to extend my deepest apologies to those who had tickets to my cancelled Stuttgart show. I woke up late this afternoon with a high fever and sore throat. A physician was able to see me at the hotel and I was diagnosed with bronchitis. As I have said before, but cannot stress enough, the decision to cancel a show and disappoint fans (many who have waiting a very long time to see a show) is agonizing, but unfortunately the extensive travel and duration of this very, very long world tour has occasionally resulted in illness that makes it impossible for me to perform.
Although I have been under the weather for quite some time, I've been on a mission to perform as much as possible in Germany for my incredible fans over here and our first shows were fantastic. I can only hope to rest intensively and heal quickly as there are more shows ahead as well as a televised performance with Helene Fischer and Jose Carreras. My sincere apologies to all the people who were looking forward to the show and for any inconvenience the cancellation has caused anyone. Mb

Dear Michael, my thoughts are with you and I hope you are feeling better today. Try and take it easy if you can and don,t rush back into performing until you are really on the mend and feel well enough to do so.Your body is telling you it needs a rest. We all love and care about you very much Michael, and want you to get well again and be happy.

Michael,You are getting a lot of great advice and remedies...and I hope I can add another one for you...have a text book from The LIfe Extension Foundation. They have been around for a very long time, backed by some of the worlds best tradtional/cutting edge physicians. In searching under respiratory infections they say to supplement with echinachea, garlic capsules, for immune system, probiotics if you are taking antibiotics.This will help to keep your intestineal tract in balance, lots of vitamin C every couple of hours, a good multi vitamin with zinc and selenium, decaf green tea, extra honey,or soothing chammomile, if you like. I don't even know if you believe in vitamins! But it is just a suggestion. I am sure you have an excellent dr./drs. If you would like to read up on any of these recommenations you can go to LIF.com.

Hi again Michael, I was wondering if you have tried acupunture? If you haven't..it can help to strengthen your lungs, immune system and balance out anything that your body may need.
I hope this helps....I would love to give you some chicken soup but your are a vegetarian.!! LOL

Dear Michael, So sorry and shocked that you are still not that well yet..I can relate, my thirteen year old son recently was visiting his brothers in NY an ended up with the H1N1 flu!!! He is coming out of it thank God ..this weather down here in Florida is so crazy..one minute it is hot and then freezing, which does not help matters.
We all are here for you and we want you to get all better!!! So you can be 100% back!! REEEEEEElax and take advantage of this time since that is what your body may be telling you.

....thanks for this honest message. I can imagine it isn't easy for you, to write this to your 'Stuttgart-Fans'. But...., health is for all of us the No. 1 in our life, and you deserve all the support we can give.
I'm sure, there will be a new possibility to see you, ....any given day, ....anywhere in Europe, ...perhaps in Germany. And then, when you return to us, you'll be the very best!

Well, first and foremost Michael is an Artist and Performer, it‘s his life. However, I agree that for the sake of his own health at this moment it would be better for him to be at home with loving and caring people. Dear Michael, please take everything easy and get well soon.

Hello Michael,
just came back from Stuttgart to Prague after attending your concert in Nuremberg.
I was really very sad the concert in Stuttgart was cancelled as I came from Prague, Czech Republic (500 km) especially because of you and had a great seat.When I told you "See you in Stuttgart" 4 days ago in Nuremberg, I really was sure to see you again and not for the last time in this year.....
Get well soon and do not forget your German fans !! We are waiting for you !!!

Michael, I am so sorry to hear you are ill again and thank goodness you got to see a doctor quickly. You are such a dedicated performer and want to do your best for the fans, but please take care of yourself. We all care about you and your health comes first. Maybe the show can be rescheduled.. You need to be better to enjoy the Holidays with your family as well, especially that sweet little granddaughter waiting to spend time with you back home!!
