Cancellation of Stuttgart Show

I want to extend my deepest apologies to those who had tickets to my cancelled Stuttgart show. I woke up late this afternoon with a high fever and sore throat. A physician was able to see me at the hotel and I was diagnosed with bronchitis. As I have said before, but cannot stress enough, the decision to cancel a show and disappoint fans (many who have waiting a very long time to see a show) is agonizing, but unfortunately the extensive travel and duration of this very, very long world tour has occasionally resulted in illness that makes it impossible for me to perform.

Although I have been under the weather for quite some time, I've been on a mission to perform as much as possible in Germany for my incredible fans over here and our first shows were fantastic. I can only hope to rest intensively and heal quickly as there are more shows ahead as well as a televised performance with Helene Fischer and Jose Carreras. My sincere apologies to all the people who were looking forward to the show and for any inconvenience the cancellation has caused anyone. Mb

Ah Michael ,Hope you feel better soon! Please  take care of yourself we all love you.  Maybe its time to take a few day at home where there are people to love and take good care of you!  We know when you cancel a concert its means you are really sick!  All we are all concerned with is you being healthy and happy.  You are the best!  Please get well soon!! Hey sweet Michael, thank you for posting this. We all know you wouldn’t cancel unless it was absolutely necessary so we do understand. Michael, we all keep telling you that the most important thing is your health and your body is telling you the same thing: maybe it’s about time you listen… :D It seems to me that you have a lot of trouble with the concept of keeping still, but good health doesn’t just happen, a couple of days of complete rest would do you good: there are no short-cuts to good health so, if I may suggest, you take the time and we’ll give you the love and tenderness! :D Now get some rest so you can get better sooner: your fans will wait patiently until you’re well enough and know you’ll make it up to them. thank you for your message. I guess/hope no one will blame you for being ill. I know lots of people here in Germany hoping, that you get all the supply and assistance you deserve and that you recover soon.

 

Thank you for your wonderful concert in Düsseldorf. It is still topic with family and friends.

Michael all your Connecticut fans are thinking of u as u get well and tell the Bronchitis "GET OUTTA HERE'"!!!!

 I was sad to see the news of your illness but please drink lots of herbal tea with some honey & lemon and u will be well soon enough !!

I always get bronchitis at least 2 times during the winter and usually 1 is asthmatic but i know pain cause the coughing hurts !!!!

 At least u have it all easy and just do not talk or try singing it will make it alot worse getting rid of it !!!

Michael just get some 'Time,Love & Tenderness" and u will be on top of the world in NO TIME AGAIN !!!

Aww, bless your heart Michael. I am so sorry to hear that you have been poorly again.

My offer still stands to come and be your 'night nurse'!! Ha Ha!!

 

Seriously, drink cooled boiled water with lemon in it and your throat and chest will soon clear.  Inhale boiling water with Olbas or eucalyptus oil in it and this will ease any congestion you might have.

To my dear Michael,

It,s all ok, we, your real fans understand and our main concern is your health. You must take more care of yourself and make sure to get enough sleep on tour Michael. I don,t like to think of you being ill(again!), wish I could make you feel better. You maybe need to take extra vitamins to help your immune system in cold weather or when you,re feeling run-down. I really hope you,re soon on the road to recovery. You are very dear and precious to us and we love you so much. Keep warm and try and take comfort from the loving messages from your fans.
