Haven't been there in quite a while, but wouldn't mind getting back to western China again myself. Hard to believe in the "boonies" of China there are so many millions of people. Hope your hotel is in better shape than mine was post-Tien An Men (but I'm not supposed to know about what-all went on there - LOL!).
