I didn't think that love was important. I thought that the casual love between friends, the familial love between relatives, and the romantic love between lovers was just something nice to have. It made life easier, but life could be lived without it. After a deployment to a Iraq where there was no love, just people trying to make it through, that I realized how wrong I was. It was the love that people sent me--the letters, emails, care packages--that kept me safe and kept me sane.

Love is everything. It makes you feel all the emotions possible. Warm, safe, angry, secure, sad, happy. Without the love of my husband, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

Love just can't be explained by words. Love is what you feel deep inside, and you just can't explain with convincing words. Suddenly you don't know why you do stupid things, because of love. Love is everything, love is something people just can't live without.

I first 'met' Michael Bolton just after moving to Germany as a newlywed with my husband while he was serving in the military. We moved in with another couple and they had the CD "Soul Provider". Talk about love at first sound! Now almost 22 years later, I am still in love with my husband Michael and in love with the songs of Michael Bolton. Since the summer of 1990, Michael Bolton has been the 'soundtrack to my life'. "Soul Provider" and "Go the Distance" have always been especially sentimental to me. I recently got to attend a concert in Overland Park Kansas and had 2nd row seats and when he sang "Go The Distance" I was so emotional, still to this day. His music, songs and emotion have continued to this day to be very important to me.

Love is the greatest gift from God. To say u have never loved is just the ultimate loss in a person's life. I love waking every morning to look around me to see God's art for the day. Love is a big 4-letter word. I would have to agree with "Love, Laugh, and Live Life to the Fullest."
