I'm back in the thick of touring and loving it from Iowa to Nebraska to New Mexico and the fans have been absolutely awesome.
I want to be sure everyone knows I've been feelin a lot of love over the performance of "Hallelujah"
and I intend to record for my next CD. Dwts last week was the first time I'd ever sung the song and I love it. Very cool of them to invite me to sing it!! At the same time I'm looking forward to bringing you my best performance possible in the new year. Thank you all again for the tremendous outpouring of support!!! All my love, mb

Dear Michael,
beautiful to read just now about the birth of your new baby grand-daughter.
There is an old “saying” which goes : “ A grand-child is two times one´s child “.
- Hallelujah !!
And I was reading a few notes about the date and lyrics of the original song of Leonard Cohen and several interpretations ( covers? ) along the years. Jeff Buckley, son of Tim Buckley, called my attention, as he died very young and didn´t witness the great success of his cover.
But new babies are born, they bring " joy to the world " and make it carry on.
Sweet greetings,
M. N.

God bless your new granddaughter, Taryn & her husband, and of course all the family. The Great-grandma and the "aunties" must all be so proud. My next grandson will be here in a few weeks, and I can't wait to hold him. I KNEW that DWTS was the first time you had ever sung that song!! Friends disagreed with me, as they couldn't believe you would be able to "learn" it so fast. But I would never doubt you ;) Love and good wishes to you and all your lovely family. Take care of yourself, too.

Michael, you a wonderful singer in what ever you sing, the song you sang on DWTS was more than wonderful..I think you did a better job than the man who wrote and sang it!! Please let us know when your next CD comes out so we can get it as quickly as possible. YOU ARE THE BEST...................
See you at Tunicia tommorrow nite...........

Hallelujah!!! (that you've decided to include the song on your next CD and that you've gotten such wonderful press for your one and only performance of the song) You never cease to amaze me, Michael. The mold was broken when you were born, but I suspect a tiny bit was set aside for Amelia Rose. Perhaps she, too, was blessed with golden pipes ... time will tell. Can't wait to see pictures of her cradled in your arms and to see you on the road again. Enjoy every second of this newest chapter in your life "G" (what HAVE they decided to call you?) I can only imagine the love and pride you feel for that beautiful little girl. With love and affection to my favorite guy, always - Jackie
